Although I've been a musician for decades and have mastered sequencers, this was my first tracker purchase. The workflow is completely new to me so there is a bit of a learning curve. I wanted something to create music on while my wife sleeps next to me in the bed at night, so, it needed to be compact with no clicky keys. I've only been working with this for a few nights now and I am very excited about my purchase! I'm enjoying the learning curve because once I got started, things really fell into place and the workflow is exactly what it should be! This thing is so much fun...as long as you have patience. The keys are completely quiet and I'm still able to work with 8 tracks which I love. The format is different than anything else I've worked with before and it is causing me to approach music in a different way where happy accidents are very common and truly delightful. I'm already working on a song that I could not have created any other way which is why this is so fun. Strangely, the limitations work to an unexpected advantage. (For example, working with individual notes rather than with chords - although there is a work-around for chords). This is a VERY powerful little machine. I highly recommend it for anyone who has watched Youtube videos on this and the regular Tracker and feels like they would enjoy this type of workflow. I love this machine!!!!

Really great little power house sampler / tracker. If you have used trackers before this is really easy to get going and start making songs with. The mic doesn't pick sound as easily as they show - but you can get an external mic that works a lot better for cheap!Overall happy with the device / been getting a lot of use so far and its holding up great!

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer mobilen DAW um „unauffällig“ in den Öffis Musik zu machen, ohne immer einen Laptop mitschleppen zu müssen.Zwangsläufig stößt man dabei auf Tracker.Daraufhin habe ich mir den Polyend Tracker Mini bestellt. Zunächst muss ich sagen, dass das Bedienkonzept wirklich cool ist. Wenn man den Dreh raus hat (was recht schnell geht), kann man wirklich in Handumdrehen erste Tracks erstellen. Es macht wirklich Spaß damit zu arbeiten.Das integrierte Mikrofon ist cool um eben schnell Samples aufzunehmen. Der Akku hält auch wirklich lange.Alles in allem wäre ich mit dem Gerät zufrieden gewesen.Trotzdem habe ich es zurück geschickt. Die Knöpfe fühlen sich einfach komisch an, mit einem wirklich merkwürdigen Druckpunkt. Man kann nicht differenzieren ob man jetzt den Knopf gedrückt hat oder nicht.Die Gummierung des Gehäuses erweckt auch eher den Eindruck als würden da mittelfristig die Weichmacher entweichen und einen klebrigen Film hinterlassen (mein persönlicher Eindruck).Auch die Spaltmaße am Gehäuse waren nicht regelmäßig (dort wo Gehäuseober- und Unterseite verbunden sind). Ich weiß nicht ob das ein generelles Problem ist, oder ob das nur bei meinem so war.In Summe hat die Fertigungsqualität des Polyend Tracker Minis zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Ich hatte nicht den Eindruck dass der Tracker ein paar Jahre überlebt. Bei dem Preis ist mir das Risiko da einfach zu hoch. Dementsprechend habe ich ihn zurück geschickt.

If you like making music on the go there is nothing better than this. It’s a mobile studio. Sampling programming gameboy style. Very powerful. I take it everywhere.
