The Pop-A-Shot Lil’ Shot has been a major hit in my house for all of my kids, with it being the focal point of countless play sessions in the days we’ve had it. Here’s my quick list of pros and cons for the item.Pros:- Easy to put together, takes about 30 minutes if you take your time. No tools are required for setup.- Frame is a solid PVC frame with tight fittings that shouldn’t come loose.- Includes a pump and needle for the basketballs.- Perfect height for kids 3-5 years old. The backboard has two different height settings, so you can pick the one that’s best for your kids. My 6 year old is probably a little too tall for it even when the backboard is in its highest position, but he still enjoys playing with it.- Extremely lightweight and super easy to move.- The basketballs are bouncy and won’t hurt if your child accidentally gets hit by one or hits you with one.- Has an electronic scoring mechanism that can be used with or without an announcer/voice that encourages players as they hit shots.- Includes stickers for your kids to decorate the scoreboard with if they want to.- Encourages physical play for the kids.- While I’ve not timed it, each round seems to last about 1 minute and it will warn you when you’re in the final 10 seconds.Cons:- The announcer voice and buzzer that warns you of the final 10 seconds of the round aren’t very loud, making them hard to hear while playing.- The side netting has several spots where threads were loose right out of the box, making me question its durability.- On a few occasions now, the backboard has actually fell down while the kids were playing. It attaches to the PVC pipes using 4 snap connections that are semi-circles and fit around the PVC pipe. For whatever reason, the top right connection doesn’t get a firm grip on the PVC and has a tendency to fall over.- Being so lightweight, the Lil’ Shot is prone to moving around as your kids are playing on it. Some rubber grips on the feet of the toy are needed.Overall I’m impressed with the Lil’ Shot and my kids are having a blast with it. Despite the few negatives, it’s still a great product that I would recommend to others with small children. I’ll give it 4/5 stars.

We love this!! My 3 year old played with one at a friends, so we ordered one for her 4th birthday. Major hit for all my kids ( 3, 5 and 8), and my husband too :) Love that it’s smaller so we could easily fit it in a room.

My 5 year old son LOVES this! It's the perfect size for indoor practice and hours of play! Also, very easy to assemble!
