Great book to distract kids when potty training. Poop was a problem but once this came into the house it was mastered in no time!

I only purchased this book and the one on teaching your Dragon to accept “no.” but I really like the authors approach. I think it’s very thoughtfully written, and very helpful for the child, not to mention the adult who is trying to convey an important lesson.This particular book is not for the parent to learn how to potty train a child, but it is definitely something that would make the child understand WHY they’ve got to go through the trouble of learning to use a toilet, something that some children aren’t so predisposed to enjoying.THE PLUSH ANIMAL THAT IS DESIGNED TO GO WITH THE SERIES IS JUST ADORABLE.

My 4 year old loves these books.However I find the price too high for what they are. One can get a high quality hardcover children's book for not much more. I also feel like the lessons in them are not so well thought out compared to some other books or quality tv programming. I imagine they would not be recommended by early learning specialists for example.But they are fine, there's nothing there you wouldn't want your kid to read. I just feel like Amazon tried to put out a bunch of educational books without a lot of due thought, just to have a series in the genre. That is my personal take.

Love this book! My daughter really related to the dragon and was a wonderful book for her while learning to potty train.
