I’m new to Pilates and my reformer, this video was easy to follow as the instructor John Garry is phenomenal. He explains everything well and easy to understand. This video has a lot of jumping on the tramp, and by the time the video was over I was sweating! Love it!

I took nearly 500 Pilates classes in 2 1/2 years but quit my membership about 6 weeks ago. I moved in January and have been scrambling to get there because I’m not as close to the studio. I got my own reformer and have been doing online videos. It’s great to have a go- to DVD. The workout is solid. I do more advanced workouts typically but this one is sufficiently challenging. The variation is fabulous. I like the mix of exercises. ✅

I think that this is a great reformer routine. It switches between cardio tramp and traditional reformer exercises. The instructions are clear and it is easy to follow. The exercises on the dvd are as follows:Basic Jumps, Small Jumps, Jumping Jacks, Pre-Loaded Jumps, Ab Prep Mid Back Series - Triceps Unilateral Triceps Unilateral Straight Arm Pull Feet In Straps - Bend & Stretch Lift & Lower Walking on The Ceiling Side Jumps - Single Leg Press Single Leg Jumps Back Rowing - Plow High Row Roll Down with Bicep Curl Chest Expansion with Squat - Prep Vertical Squat Hinge With Flexion Combo Running Mania - Basic Jumps Single Leg Jumps Jogging Side Twist - Arms Straight Side Flexion Up Stretch Prep - Prep One Leg Flexed Upper Body Jumps - Bilateral Unilateral Arms Circle With Rotation Crouching Tiger To Superman - Prep to Plank Add Push Up Full Power Jumps Speed Skater - Carriage Leg Extending Rise Up To Vertical Reverse Knee Stretches - Neutral Neutral to Flexion Shell Stretch and Single Thigh StretchThe Workout Time is 49 minutes, which is not that much, I like to combine this workout with other workouts for the reformer.Unlike some of the other reformer dvds by Stott, this is geared towards users and not instructors, so you can workout along with the dvd. The cueing is easy to follow and I like the pace and instructions. It could be a little longer though, especially in the cardio segments. They use the platform extender in this routine, apart from that, no other props are needed, which is nice if you don't have other accessories like the box or pole.

I want to start by saying that I really enjoyed the actual workout part of the DVD. But I have only used it twice because it takes FOREVER for the DVD to finally allow you to start the workout. Not only do I have to sit through warnings and commercials that I cannot bypass before getting to the menu, I then have to fast forward a few minutes past the introductions. There is no chapter marker for when the actual workout starts, which seem so strange to me.After seeing all of their warnings, commercials and introductions once, sitting through them again is really boring! It takes more than 5 minutes. If you aren't a busy person and don't mind sitting around waiting for your DVD to start I think you will be happy with the workout. It's too bad. The instructor and helpers did a great job, they just hired the wrong person to create the physical DVD.
