The power stop kit come with a high quality rotor and pad combo as well as lube and slides. Compared to OE the rotors are thicker and heavier with a nice bright nickel coating. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone looking to improve their braking performance or upgrade the quality of their braking components.

I'd ignore any rating less than 3 or 4 stars. The components fit perfectly (the brake shoe clips).The rotors went on easily. Fit and finish as described and met expectations.Anyone not rating this item well, most likely is not a mechanic, or has little mechanical ability and therefore should not be doing a brake job.I followed the break-in instructions TO THE LETTER. The increase in stopping power with no fade is AMAZING! I am not an aggressive driver, just wanted better brakes. I think I've found them.I cannot speak to how long they'll last, but they're smoother than any other aftermarket rotor I've put on this car, going to put them on my truck soon.Definitely recommend this product.

Instalé el kit de disco y balatas en una Toyota Matrix 2003 y fue muy rápido. Todo tiene las medidas precisas. Mi esposa me agradece haber cambiado los discos porque mejoró mucho el frenado de la camioneta. Se siente más segura. No emite ruido alguno al frenar.Los recomiendo mucho.

What an improvement in stopping, even though I have yet to replace my original drums/shoes in the rear, They look great and even my mechanic was impressed (especially for the price $120) I paid. It was easy to break these in. Highly recommended! I was so impressed with this brand that I have ordered Power Stop brake shoes for the rear brakes. Just wish they made nice looking silver drums too.

Kit included new stainless steel pad retaining clips that the pads slid into on the caliper bracket. Nice bonus!You will need a 14 mm and 17 mm wrench or socket and ratchet to change these. The change was simple, but had to use a BFH to motivate one of the old rotors to want to leave its home. It was an original rotor with 221,000 miles on it, so I understand why it didn't want to part ways with the center hub. Used WD-40 and the aforementioned BFH and it eventually came off.These pads/rotor combo provide great braking force, but do create quite a smell for a bit. We shall see if the smell goes away with time as I suspect this is just curing the resin in the pads and burning the protective coating/machining oils off the rotors.Just some advice, don't buy rotors from any auto parts stores (Advance, Pep boys, Auto Zone etc...) as the rotors they sell are sub standard and warp very easily. I have 221,000 miles on my Matrix, and have only ever replaced one rotor on the left front with one from Advance auto parts. It warped within 2 weeks of putting it on the car. The other front rotor is still (up until last week when I installed these) an original factory rotor that has never been cut or turned as some call it. Both rear drums and shoes are factory and have never been off the car. I dread how hard those will be to get off when they need changed. I would suggest only using OEM or a brand like these rather than the junk that auto parts stores sell.
