Got this to take with me to the field to use if we wanted to do front toss. I keep it in the bag with the regular hitting net that is used for side toss or tee work. Works great with my 12 and 14 year olds when I use it for front toss. Good quality net.

The PowerNet I-Screen is an awesome addition to the 7x7 hitting net I already own!!!I have been coaching my son and his baseball teams for many years. As they have gotten older Pitching batting practice has been getting scary because they are at the age where they can rocket a line drive right back at the pitcher pretty regularly. Myself and the other coaches have had to stay VERY alert on the mound. In fact last season I got hit really hard on the hip from a "come backer" line drive. I have already pitched our first BP using the PowerNet I-Screen , it is an awesome product. I bought the net only because I already own a 7X7 hitting net and frame. The conversion of the frame to use the I-Screen net is amazingly simple. You just take one of the two bottom cross bars out and use the other one. Everything else is easy and fast to set up, just like the other nets.I can also confirm the I-Screen can stand up to line drives hit by 9 & 10 year olds!! We had 2 line drives hit hard back at the mound in the first BP using the net. They hit the net and fell to the ground without knocking the entire net over or moving it. PERFECT!!! The other coaches and I are relieved we don't have to worry about pitching BP anymore. We also plan to use the I-Screen net as a portable backstop behind second base or other open positions as it isn't as big as the 7X7, so it is more realistic to a person being in that spot and even more portable and easier to move around.Bottom line - the PowerNet I-Screen is a well thought out product and a GREAT addition if you already own a 7X7 net and something I would recommend buying if you don't already own the 7x7. I would actually recommend buying the 7X7 and the I-Screen net only as a combo because you will have a lot of versatility in what you can do with them.As always PowerNet has awesome customer service and great tutorial videos on their web site if you end up needing guidance on setting up the nets (they are SUPER SIMPLE to setup though)

I am a club coach for a 16U girls fastpitch team. We do a lot of front toss with real softballs in practice and this net really works well as a protection screen for the coach or person tossing the balls. It sets up easily, quickly and provides very good protection from balls being hit back up the middle, even at very close distances (10 to 15ft from hitter.) It is also compatible with the Bownet Big mouth frame by simply taking out one of the bottom posts. It sets up in about 45 to 60 seconds. The quality, construction and netting used appears to be identical if not slightly more heavy duty than the Bownet version. It was also about $30 less than the Bownet version. I have to admit, normally I'm sceptical of "copycat" products, especially one that will take the kind of daily abuse a club team can dish out but this net is sturdy and is holding up well. For around $40, it is a great addition to our 3 Bownets and easily converts the Bigmouth to a narrow screen for front toss. We use to use a 7x7 net but it was too big to run front toss and situation style drills for our infield not to mention the "sock" middle area had too much give and it wasn't as effective. This is wide enough for good pitcher protection but narrow enough that it allows balls to get through to middle infielders for realistic situation practice. It is also tight enough that when balls hit the net, it only gives about 4 inches. It comes with its own red carry bag, so it fits in with our other net bag and is easy to find when it's needed. One thing I would recommend is because of the rounded design of the side posts near the bottom of the net, it exposes your throwing hand foot and shin a little bit. I put a bucket of balls there for a little more protection at that point. Not a big deal really, but I know first hand what its like to take a screaming softball off the foot or shin. I guess it could be used in a pinch for soft toss but I wouldn't recommend it for that because it is really designed as a protection net and not as a traditional hitting balls into type net. I'm very happy with this net and highly recommend it for any baseball or softball team.
