This works as intended, no issues. I do have one question, why did mine come with engraving for a bread recipe and the website doesn't exist? The images don't show any engraving like that. It kind of annoys me, but doesn't effect how this product is used.

Makes putting baguettes on a hot baking stone much easier. It's light yet well made, very strong, no flex but thin.Definitely recommended.

I haven't tackled baguettes yet, BUT for my longer Italian Loaves - this is a perfect transfer peel and works wonderfully without the ends of the loaf or the center sagging as you're trying to get the loaf into the baking vessel or on the baking stone! St. Germaine is a wonderful source for new and experienced bakers!

After ruining a few baguettes - I decided this was a necessity. I previously ordered the bakers couche from Saint Germain Bakery and was so impressed with the quality I ordered the peel board from them as well. As soon a I received it, I treated the wood with food grade mineral oil and started baking a fresh baguette. I safely transferred the loaf to the pan with no deflating! I love the measure marks and the beveled edges - it’s of very good quality.
