I purchased these replacement filters for my french press and I am so glad I got this type (without the metal ring in the middle). I had another french press that I use for tea and I tried switching out the mesh screen (that had a metal ring) from that one while I waited for these to arrive and it did not fit. The filters are really well made and fit perfectly. The mesh is very tightly woven and I'm pleased with the results after pressing. And the price is very competitive. Highly recommended.

These screens fit my press whereas others I purchased did not. The difference is these screens do not have a metal reinforced piece around the hole . The others with the reinforcement were too small.Addendum: Please note there are different sizes. Mine is the 32 oz size & it fits perfectly.

French press screens were exactly as advertised. They are better quality than the original. Price was reasonable.
