Was extremely surprised and happy with how well this works. No sticking. Perfect crispy fluffy waffles. Not thin eggo type waffles, thick and deep waffles like you would get in a restaurant.Note the timer on this thing sucks, and thankfully has absolutely no bearing on cooking and no interaction with the heating or temperature of the waffle maker. I don’t even use it and they should probably remove it from the machine. If the timer was required for this to work, I probably would have returned the machine. So glad it doesn’t even need the timer turned on to work and OK with…the waffles are that good, and I prefer one less fiddly thing to go wrong with the machine or cooking. This machine has 1 temperature setting, pre-dialled in and perfect. As a simple waffle iron - plug in, it heats up, you use it - I can’t imagine anything working better or more simply than this.My usage:Follow box mix recipe for waffles, I have used several they all work. Don’t forget to add the correct amount of oil to the batter, as per box instructions.. Don’t grease the machine at all. Zero grease on the machine ever.Preheat until the light goes out.Pour batter, if it’s too thick or unevenly poured, tilt the machine slightly until it’s evenly distributed. The large cool handles are perfect for this.Close and flip. Flip again after 2 minutes. 4 minutes 30 seconds total cook time seems perfect. Don’t have to wash the machine or even wipe it down after, nothing sticks they just come right out.

You need to purchase 220V to 110V converter for operating this mashine

Bought this waffle maker after extensive research and reading a lot of reviews but I have to say..dont believe anything until you see it for yourself. Used this 1 time and it made decent waffles but wouldnt turn on the next time. I called up customer service of ibhejo and they said it is now out of return period. Got the product on 20/05 and got spoilt the second time i turned it on i.e 27/05. Now after spending all that money im left with a waffle maker that doesnt work and cannot be returned. Great service ibhejo.

Hello Amazon Researchers!I was going back and forth between the Presto Flipside Belgian Waffle Maker and other flip waffle makers made by Waring Pro WWM450PCC and Cuisinart WAF-300C. I found that the Cuisinart and Waring have identical plastic parts and I wouldn't doubt if they come from the same factory. The Waring Pro and Cuisinart seemed too fiddly. I didn't like the handle on either of them but the Cuisinart was definitely the loser in the handle department...anyway I chose the Presto Flipside because it is the most compact, flip waffle maker available to me in Canada. It stores very easily in my cabinet when not in use.The Presto Flip is easy to use and clean. The provided instructions are short and clear and contain several recipes for waffles. It takes about 3min to warm up once plugged in and there is no on/off switch so don't forget to unplug it. The waffle recipe I use (not in the manual) takes about 4min to bake in the Presto Flipside. The waffles come out crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Simply fill either side of the waffle maker with batter, close the waffle maker and then flip it over...EASY. The design of this mechanism is pure genius...no moving parts and the pivot rod appears to be made of metal. Unlike the other two that were plastic and not smooth in use. In use, the Presto Flipside is very stable, and there's no worry about it tipping over. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends. Here's my waffle recipe:1-1/4 cup of cake flour3/4tsp baking power1/3 cup sugar1/4 cup of butter, melted plus more for brushing the waffle maker1 cup of milk1 tsp of vanilla extract1 egg, separatedmelt the butter in the microwave and allow to cool slightlyseparate the egg and whip the whites in a separate bowl until stiff peaks formmix the dry ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowladd the milk, vanilla and egg yolk to the dry ingredients and mix until combined (don't overmix)add the melted butter to the batter all at once and stir it in immediatelygently fold in the whipped egg whites until combined but be careful not to deflate the whites too much while foldingHeat the waffle maker and do a LIGHT brushing with melted butter before adding the batter and bake for 4min.This makes 4 delicious waffles in the Presto FlipsideEdit Feb25, 2019: This waffle maker is still going strong! I'm thinking of buying it another to keep as a spare or backup.Edit Dec24, 2022: This waffle maker is still going strong!Edit Oct1, 2023: The Presto is still going :). The fact that this waffle iron is still on the market in the same format, is a testament to its quality design!

This is easier and more fun than I imagined. I was a bit concerned about a flipping waffle maker. I wanted the more expensive dual (rotating) waffle maker I had used several times at a friend's, but this one was half the price. It makes ONE waffle at a time (just so you know. It stores in the upright position ("Ladies and gentlemen, please return all of your seat trays and waffle makers to the upright position.") which is weird and unnerving, but it hasn't fallen over yet. It does this trick by way of a hard plastic shim that you slide up when you press both of the sides together upright. It seems goofy but it works. Now, as to the waffles. You open it and let either side rest on the counter (as shown in the product image). Pour a standard scoop of waffle batter on the center (there are recipes and directions--both were quite clear) and allow it to spread. Be generous. This waffle maker makes THICK waffles (which I like) and you will almost always ending up putting too little batter in, and end up with incomplete waffles. Anyway, pour, watch it spread (that is kind of fun) and close the lid. Wait a few minutes and flip it over--not the whole thing, just grab the handles and rotate the waffle (you will understand how to do this when you have it in front of you) and you can lift the lid in case you want to check it. I like that you can check both sides of the waffle without having to take the waffle out. You can even pop some butter (not margarine please) onto the waffle and close the lid and in 2-3 seconds (maximum) your waffle is buttered.Use PAM cooking spray for best results--not a lot--just a quick but thorough shot to make the waffles pop right out. Also, if you use melted butter instead of oil in the recipe your waffles will taste MUCH better. Now, let's say that you do manage to pour a teensy bit too much waffle batter into the iron. Let it spread and start to cook for a few moments before you close the lid. GENTLY close the lid and wait a few minutes before you flip it. You may dodge the bullet right there, but even if you do not, there is a circular groove (you can see this in the product shot) that catches and cooks excess batter. If you put WAY too much on this thing is SUPER easy to clean. Simply grab a few wet paper towels or a Handi-Wipe and brush it off quickly while the iron is hot. Post-waffle clean-up is non existent unless you really did pour too much batter in. Even then a green scrubby pad and a sponge works great, but be sure to hand dry this with a towel or the stainless will look crappy.Again, this thing looks kinda flimsy and funky, but when you use it you will LOVE it and see that it really is a well-built and well-designed product. It is also super portable. You can take it anywhere you can get juice (110 AC outlet).Hope this helps: happy waffles!
