Needed this to put on the garbage disposal switch so the cat couldn't accidentally turn it on and get curious by the noise in the sink if you know what I mean. I sleep a little easier knowing I won't wake up to a cat with shredded feet. I no longer need to keep the drain plugged at all times letting it get stinky. Installation was incredibly simple and while sometimes a little difficult to open, definitely worth having.

We bought this because my two toddler boys share a room, and the oldest has a bad habit of flipping the lights on even when the younger one is still asleep. This is easy to install, and even easier to use. It keeps it so that he doesn't flip the lights on in the middle of the night and gets the younger son better sleep. My husband did accidentally break the snaps because he doesn't follow directions, but that's on him not the product.

Had a really poorly located garbage disposal switch in my new apartment and I wanted to add something to stop accidental switching. Works as expected. A clip at the bottom of the shield holds it in place and is easy to open if you're intentionally attempting to open it. Would not consider this childsafe, but it works for my case. Was able to use old screws, but comes with a spare pair. Fits both lever and paddle style switches, with the switch its currently covering in my apartment being a paddle style.

My 3 year old kept waking in the night and turning the light on waking his brother. Bought this and problem solved. Definitely child safe! Fit over the existing light plate and just had to be screwed in. Very easy but the notch on one side that locks it broke off after only a few nights so that was disappointing. Hopefully the other side does not do the same otherwise it would be worthless. Serves its purpose and works great right now!
