We just got a beagle puppy. We had a mesh gate which she was able to squeeze under. So we bought this metal gate and it works great! She can’t jump over it or knock it down. It’s easy to open and close. It fits perfectly in our kitchen doorway. Love it!

I needed a good, strong gate to keep my medium-sized ball of fur from heading out the front door on those days when I wanted some flow-through air in my home. I decided to try this one because it was taller than many of the others. It is a little more than 36 inches, so it fit the bill.The metal gate is very sturdy and strong. It has a good amount of weight, so it feels very solid. It adjusts easily and stays in place well. The functioning of the gate itself is easy, and operating it is pretty effective. It opens and closes easily. The opening is wide enough for both the doggie and me to get through without any trouble. A nice feature is that it can fit different sized doorways with pretty easy adjustments.My main concern is the setup process. I don't consider myself very mechanical, and usually am challenged when it comes to putting things together. The instructions (and a video I found) were easy to understand, but it was still a bit confusing to me. If you are good at this kind of thing, you'll probably sail through it and get it done pretty quickly.Over all, this is just right and exactly what I needed. It is a good, sturdy, functional, and attractive gate that does the job.

This pet gate keeps our little golden doodle pup safe and secure without her feeling isolated while we are potty training. It’s very easy to assemble and sturdy

I bought this to replace a gate with a much smaller door. This one is so much better, I can actually walk thru it straight on instead of sideways. The latch open and auto close work well. Opening it is a bit difficult if your hands are full, but I can see where that would be good to keep kids from opening it easily. I wedged it into my hallway a few months ago and my dogs and I haven't managed to knock it down once. So, I'd say it's pretty stable and secure.
