First, let me start by saying that the steamer does work and it smoothes out wrinkles on shirts and pants. I was happy with the ease of use and how quick it works. Here's my experience with it:- Instructions were simple and easy to understand. But, on one item, it says that when the water runs out, "it will automatically reset".- It is not clear what "automatic reset" means. I think they are trying to say that it will automatically shutdown when water is empty.- Filled up the cup to the recommended water line (cold water). My sink water is chlorine free and soft water)- Water was boiling with 60 seconds.- Angled the steamer about 20 - 30 degrees (never crossed 45 degrees)- In the first 10- min I was using it, it was working, and steam did come out. Wrinkles were smoothed out on my pants/shirts- I also kept hearing a clicking noise. I assumed this was the thermostat kicking on/off because the water would start/stop boiling.- With the thermostat, maybe it was it protection system so that water would not continuously boil. - OK, i thought that was fine- Later on that day, I decided to use the steamer again. As I used it for the first 10 min, two things that I ran into:1. I no longer heard the clicking noise, and water seemed to keep boiling. And, my water was evaporating much quicker than the previous use.2. As I was steaming my shirt, water would occasionally spit out from the steamer head. At times, it was chunks of water. It's possible that the water was spitting out because it was continuously boiling and needed to escape. You have to be careful because that hot water will seriously burn you. Also, I saw some of the other reviews where customers would ask if this could be used on your face. (i assume they were referring to whether you could use it to clear pores from your face..etc). The answer is NO!!You can NOT use this on your face. As with any steamer, you will be seriously burned. Never touch the steamer head where steam comes out. Treat it just like an iron. So, overall, the steamer does work. I'll still continue to use it, but will be very careful with it.

If you REALLY want a helper when doing laundry, or just plain needing help when you find something all wrinkled, THIS little gem is just the ticket!I never had a steamer before, but I sure could have had something like this dandy little PureSteam Poratble Fabric Steamer. It sure IS portable, and it sure does it's job.I actually at first thought water would spurt out and I'd have hot water hitting my hand, hasn't happened yet. I brought my laundry up out of the dryer, and tried this little steamer on some shirts....the steamer was ready almost before I was. couple times over the shirt, and it was like magic! No wrinkles! Just imagine, you can use this on curtains, and that's just what I did. I headed to the bedroom to try it on the curtains that I hung up new, a few months ago. I figured the wrinkles would just eventually come out as they were hanging......no, they didn't, and me, being a bit lazy, did NOT climb up and take them down to iron them. The Portable Fabric Steamer got the wrinkles out!!! It didn't hardly take any time at all. Didn't take the curtains down either...how neat is that!? I think my iron is going to the thrift shop.Light, easy easy to use, not a lot of money, gets those wrinkles out super fast...Can't find or think of one reason not to like this amazing steamer.
