This coffee warmer has all the features I was looking for and more! It has an adjustable timer. I wanted one I could set for just 1 hour as I don’t sit drinking for more than that and I was afraid of the longer times would result in a fire hazard if I forgot to turn it off. This device has a gravity feature in addition to the auto turn off. If you remove your mug, it turns off! It has 3 temperature settings ( lowest is plenty hot) and has 3 swrrings depending on the type of mug you are using (ceramic, glass and metal). But what is most brilliant is the SIZE of the hit zone! I use big mugs and this can accommodate any size mug! And the wood grain finish makes it fit in with my living room! Like I said, a home run!

Very happy with product - fully meets my needs.Pros:+ Large and sturdy - and will handle *any* sized cup.+ Appears to be well-built, i.e., nothing flimsy about it.+ Fully featured - temp, timer, etc., are all selectable - nice.+ Gets quite hot (a feature, but makes the timer essential).+ Clean, efficient style (though some might think utilitarian).Cons:- This cup warmer is a beast (large)! I love it, but some may want something smaller for their desk.- I am not a fan of cup warmer "gravity switch" design, but this is not so much as a "con" or criticism of this product as it is a personal preference. What I don't like about the gravity switches is that if you set *anything* down on the warmer it heats up, which is actually a safety feature (on a previous product once a family member placed an iPad on my desk, accidentally triggering the cup warmer and we nearly started a fire). Besides the accidental gravity-on risk, the other thing I have never liked about gravity switches is that they make cup warmers tipsy - and on this model it is so much so that the cup warmer click/tips when you push the buttons, etc. So I keep the gravity switch off and I added a bunch of small furniture pads (see pic) to steady the cup warmer - now is rock-solid and no more shifting and clicking when you use the warmer or depress any of the switches. Again, I don't hold this against the producer - gravity switches are apparently popular - but I consider them to be a mixed blessing, and just not my jam.Bottom Line: Love this product - recommended.

I've looked at a LOT of mug warmers, and this one is a vast improvement over the one I currently have, and any other I've seen online.I love this warmer for the following reasons:1. The surface area is humongous. It's 5.25" in diameter. You'll be hard-pressed to find a mug that's too large.2. It has 3 modes for different mug compositions. Glass. Ceramic. Metal. Each mode has 3 individual temperature settings, for a total of 9 temp settings.3. It has an On/Off button for powering the unit.4. It has a gravity switch. When you put the mug on the burner, the burner heats up to your chosen temperature setting. When you remove the mug, the burner temporarily shuts off. If you keep the mug off of the burner for more than 10 minutes, the unit shuts off entirely.5. You can set the warmer to remain on for up to 9 hours, in one-hour increments! That's 9 settings!! I discovered that the timer setting, which remains on during the duration the mug is on the burner, counts down the hours remaining to unit shutoff. This was discovered accidentally. I don't believe that this was mentioned in the instructions.6. I like my coffee HOT! This warmer can keep your hot drinks, HOT!!7. It's reasonably priced and has more features than any other warmer that I've seen.8. The miscellaneous feature-set is easy to use and is user-friendly, to boot.All-in-all, this is mug warmer perfection, and one of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon. And I order a LOT from Amazon. I'm a daily coffee ☕️ drinker and this will be used frequently. It's a winner 🏆!GRADE A++++++

I have had a few cup warmers now and have come to appreciate the combination of features this unit has, these features really make a difference, and you should definitely buy this over other units or at least ensure you get a unit with these features as they matter a lot:1. You should definitely get a gravity switch! The gravity switch makes sure you dont have a scalding hot plate sitting in the open on your desk if you forget to hit the off button or even needing to have to think about turning it on and off, modern tech makes these things heat up real quick, the grav switch is a no brainer. Even if these units are not hot enough to combust, they are a hazard if left on and can risk damaging things or causing injury.2. You need a timer to ... if you have gravity why do you also need a timer? Well have you ever left your cup on your desk when you went out for a meeting or maybe overnight? A lot of the units with a grav switch will never time out which is not only pointless and wasteful but can also be a safety risk as one time I found a stack of papers accidentally placed on my old unit and fortunately it was not hot enough to combust but it could have been much worse. If you dont want a hot plate possibly turned on and running nonstop when you may not even be home, get the timer, this unit is among the lowest cost warmers so its not like your paying extra. Now with this unit I know if I leave my cup or some other item accidentally pushes the warmer, it will shut itself off anyway after the specified time.3. It has an off button - if you are like me and have some concern about a hot plate that can automatically turn on the heat if something presses it, having the mental comfort of knowing the unit is turned off completely is really awesome, no need to worry about if something accidentally gets placed on it or if you have kids playing, you can be assured its turned off. Such a simple thing but very few warmers have one, for most of these units the only way is climbing under your desk to unplug it.4. Easy controls - I dont want to have to remember some complex button pushing sequence because my warmer brand thought it was cooler to only have one button. Its nice this unit has very simple and intuitive buttons, it doesnt even need a manual at all, I dont have to worry about remembering how to configure some setting, its just super easy and intuitive.5. A lot of these warmers have extremely short cords, this one isnt super long but there isnt much choice in warmer cord length and so this units 5 foot cord is much better than the 3 foot found on many warmers. This unit had the best combination of meaningful features and was one of the most affordable. I havent had the unit very long so I cannot speak to longevity but the build quality is high. After having several warmers without all these features, I can attest that these are not just superfluous features, they really matter. I highly recommend this unit.

Let's start with the good bits. This mug warmer is large enough to accommodate almost any mug I can imagine, has plenty of power to keep it warm, has well laid out controls, has plenty of functions, and has a quite reasonably clear display. Its gravity switch is plenty sensitive enough, and had a ten-minue timeout so that the heater doesn't shut off every time you pick up your mug. Its surface is smooth and looks easy to clean, and while the power switch is located on the front edge, it-s light enough to operate that you don't push your warmer around just trying to turn it on (unless you're ham-handed).That said, it's not perfect. There's two things I'd like to see changed about it.First, it has three temperature settings at 20°F intervals — 185°F, 165°F, 145°F — and for me, that is a little wide of a spread. It's probably a good RANGE to cover, but a bit more granularity would improve it. For me, 185°F is a little too hot, but 165°F is a little cool. If it had five settings instead of three covering the same range, I'm guessing 175°F would be just about perfect for me.And the second issue is that it doesn't REMEMBER what temperature I last set it to. So it always turns on at 185°F.If these two issues were fixed, I'd have no hesitation giving it five stars for temperature control and overall. But as it is, with these two little defects, it's not quite there.
