Congratulations to you Pyle for creating such a great and durable 2000 watt RMS 6 channel marine amplifier. I recently installed my amplifier, I am a car audio technician for 15 year so I have installed over 1000 systems over those fifteen years. I'm just a part time installer now only for people I know, my system consists of a pair of Infinity Kappa 93IX 6" * 9" in the boot 220watt RMS along with a boxed ported JL Audio 12" TW3-D4 W3 400watt RMS, Skar Audio VD-10 D4 10" 500watt RMS boxed ported Subwoofer. In the back door trim a set of Infinity Kappa 6.5" 200watt RMS splits, in the front door trim the same splits along with 5" * 7" JBL 130watt RMS. I have the amplifier running through a PRV 8 Channel audio Dsp, it allows me more audio control with time delay, volume alignment and 32 band equalisation and frequency control as well as distortion eliminating setting presets. I believe that the audio speakers I've used on this build is above average grade so I was very surprised to find that your amplifier which I purchased at a bargain for $80 AUD delivered from USA to me in NSW, Australia with free shipping as I am a Amazon Prime subscriber. The amplifier not only ran the whole set up but running every channel at 2 ohms stable that 2 by 400 watt RMS to channels 1,2, 3 & 4 and 900watt RMS to Channels 5 & 6. The sound clarity was amazing as well as the quality of the sound the amplifier was producing near peak power. The only draw back I came across was that running at such power output the amplifier works very hard and the circuits get really hot, to hot to touch the amplifier. However since adding a set of cooling fans one blowing the other drawing the heat out off the amps internal circuits it improves the performance as well as the longevity of the amplifier so far I have not been able to make the amplifier's protection come on even running at 95% volume from maxing out on the head unit. If you ask me is the amplifier worth it?? My answer would have to be a definite Yes! If you are planning to build something with greater output than what I've built you might want to consider the next size up which offers 8 channels with 3000watt RMS that is the PLMRA 820. Keep up the outstanding work Pyle I'm looking forward to the next generation of Marine style amplifiers you come out with next!!Yours SincerelyHOWARD LAM.

I would not recommend purchasing this product, I bought this amp June of 2013 and I had this amp professionally installed 6 months ago and it has already stopped working altogether...the lights come on but no sound. One day it worked the next day it didn't. I had the boat electronics repairman take a look because I thought it was a wiring issue. He said that the amp will not go out of "standby" mode, there was no issue with the wiring as the head unit and the speakers all work once he bypassed the amp. The lights come on in the amp but no sound. It won't go off the "standby" mode. He said that there is no way to fix these amps in a cost friendly way, better off buying a new amp. I'm sure some people have had no problems but I basically paid $200 to use this defective product 6 months. Buy at your own risk...you've been warned.

I had 2 Amp's, one for the tower speakers and one for the subwoofers. I have wanted to connect the speakers that are in the boat to an Amp also, so when one of mine went out I found this as a replacement. The Amp is about 22" X 12" X 2.5", so fit great where my old ones were mounted. Wiring it was very easy and a quick search of you tube will give you an excellent video on how to adjust it. The sound quality is very good and lets take into consideration that your on a ski boat in the water so volume is what you really need. This Amp does just that, now we will just have to see how long it lasts.
