I have a small table that I made to go behind my couch in between it and the wall. Unfortunately, with my couch in the position that it is, it blocks an outlet. This solves my problem. I made a paper cut out that was the same dimensions as the lower part of the product. I marked my table accordingly, and drilled some pilot holes. I then used small hand saws to cut out the rectangle shape. You may want to try another method, this is just what worked for me. So far it is working great and I have a convenient place to plug in lamps and chargers. No complaints.

These are a life saver! We have them mounted in our in wall desk/ industrial shelves that hold our 3d Printers and CNC machine. They are so helpful as we can wire our under shelf lights and other USB accessories and power the printers in each section. Installation was a breeze with the included templates. Holding up great and look so very professional and just fit the vibe of a makerspace very well.

This power strip is awful. Plugs don't fit in it. Not a single one we tried. It leaves a quarter inch gap of exposed metal. Do not buy this product!!

This power strip looks great mounted in our desk. On the top of the desk it has a low profile and provides 4 AC receptacles, 2 USB A ports, and one USB C port, The USB ports can charge phones and tablets at a quick rate. The USB C port uses the PD protocol to determine the best way to charge your devices. It's rated at 20 watts... more than enough to fast charge a phone or tablet. Not enough power to really charge a laptop well. Works on fast charge with my iPad and Surface tablets.Installation in a desk requires a you to cut a rectangle cutout. I found the easiest way was to trace the bottom of the unit (smallest side) on the desk. Then I drilled a pilot hole and used a saber saw to make the cutout.
