I was having trouble with my tile saw blade wandering and creating an uneven cut.I purchased this blade after reading the reviews . The blade worked really good and the saw cut totally straight again . The blade ended up out lasting my saw as I sold it to upgrade to a larger saw . Definitely a good option .

I liked the price, prior to buying this I used the original Rigid tile blade for about 800 sqft of tile then I noticed it was getting very slow when cutting. I was not completely sure it needed a blade but I bought this one to try it out. After about 1000 sqft of installing porcelain tile it started getting like the Rigid blade, cutting very slow. If I cut faster(feeding the tile to the blade fast) it would chip the tile, some times when I would get close to the end of the cut it would splinter the rest of the tile. One of my acquaintances told me that they have been using the same blade for at least 5000 sqft and is still cutting good. Maybe it's the design of the blade ( since it has segments to prevent blade warpping). I dont think I would buy this blade again.

I spent way too long in the tile aisle at Home Depot thinking about my options here. I couldn't find a single blade in store that was 8", which is what I needed for the tile saw I'd borrowed. Ordering one from the store would take a week and cost more than twice as much as this one. I was worried about the cost difference, but I took a chance on the Black Widow. I had it in two days, and set to work. Two large showers, one tub surround and a kitchen back splash later, and this was still making perfect cuts.I used it with granite, marble and porcelain of varying thickness, and it was fantastic with all of them. When I returned the saw, I left this blade on it for the owner since it still looked and worked great, at half the cost of any other blade I could find.

A decent blade, especially for about $20. I've purchased several of these for my bridge tile saw and they're stable, cut well and last a reasonable length of time for the price. I work mostly with porcelain tile which is pretty tough stuff, but I've also successfully cut up to 3 cm granite making fireplace hearths and achieved near perfect accuracy with this blade. The blade handles large format porcelain in stride for many cuts, and it's stable enough to maintain cuts within 1/64" which is my desired tolerance for visible cuts but overkill for most tile guys. There are certainly blades that last longer out there, but number of cuts per dollar spent is an important consideration, and I'm pretty well sold on these for value. Proper use just means not pushing too fast, and keeping sufficient and relatively clean water running into the cut. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this blade.
