Fits well in my 19" rack and the hinged feature is extremely handyHonestly, I'd love if all of my patch panels were hinged like this -- I have a 29" rack in a 34" enclosed cabinet and getting to the other side for changes is sort of a pain -- having hinges and just taking one side loose to swing it around is lovely.Everything feels secure, looks nice, keystones lock in securely and the ease of operation is a great feature.

The panel itself is made of solid metal with a nice black finish. It feels sturdy and well-built, suitable for rack mounting. The ports are numbered 1 through 12, with small white spaces above each port for labels.I really like the hinged design. You can unscrew one side and swing the panel out, which makes accessing the back to install or change keystone jacks much easier, especially in a tight rack. Keystones snap in easily. Slightly disappointed that you have to unscrew to swing open and its not a simple latch system.

This 1U 12-Port Keystone Patch Panel is a well-made and innovative solution for those who truly need a compact, flexible patching option. The hinged design really stands out—it makes accessing and modifying connections incredibly easy without disassembling the entire rack.Pros:✅ Sturdy Build – Made from durable cold-rolled steel with a quality powder-coated finish. It feels solid and long-lasting.✅ Hinged Flexibility – The swing-out design on both ends is a game-changer for making quick changes in tight spaces.✅ Easy Keystone Installation – Snap-in keystone slots make setup and swapping ports fast and hassle-free.✅ Clear Labeling & Organization – Helps with efficient cable management.Cons:❌ 12 Ports on a 19” Rack? – If you need to maximize space, a 24-port panel would make more sense for most setups. But if 12 ports is all you need, this is a fantastic choice.Final Thoughts:While a 24-port panel might be more practical for most 19” racks, this hinged 12-port design is an excellent choice for those with limited space or specific use cases. The solid build and easy access make it a great buy if you only need 12 ports! Highly recommended! 🔌🛠️

This patch panel is quite nice and I would consider it a very good value. The hinged feature will make punching down the Ethernet wires to the keystones very simple. I used colored keystones to identify the drop connected to that keystone. Yellow is for important devices like servers and ISP modem, blue for general drops to bedrooms and green for drops going to POE devices.

This is something I wouldn't have imagined needing for my homelab, but it has become so. It is a heavy duty, well made keystone compatible patch panel. Hinged on both sides, so it can swing whichever direction you need. Certainly helps to organize the cabling mess in a server rack. Decently priced.
