No dropouts or issues after 72 hour period of owning. Connected to an Ubiquiti router at 2.5Gig with Cat 6a with future proofing in mind. Plug and play on Arch Linux.Got this to ditch the "Killer Networking" problems from motherboard, no regrets.

The Aquantia AQC-107 chip on this board is excellent full m-Gig.I have a few of these and they are all flawless. They work well with Linux. My NAS has an Intel X710-T2L in it feeding the main switch. Everything plays well together.Never had an issue.

Easy to install. Had to get drivers from the internet which was easy enough, extract into folder, and install.Brackets of different sizes included with screws.... ready to go. Heat-sink kinda small, but will see. Only up and running for 10 mins, but will see long haul use...Note: installed drivers first before installing card vs. installing card, and doing a manual search/install of drivers... On boot up, Windows detected and working immediately.Cons: No drivers included. No doc telling you where to get them.... internet search with Qnap solved this.Overall quick install. Always had good luck with Qnap equipment. Will update after all new gear installed to 10gbe, and see how the NIC is working down the road.Update March 14, 2021:Had just one minor issue with 10gbe card using the Aquantia 2.7.21.0 drivers for Windows 7.When powering my computer off, the computer would turn off normally. Then 5 or 10 minutes later the computer would start all by itself. After a couple days of this and only installing the card, I solved the issue. Several changes are made when installing the driver. First, in my bios it added the Aquantia for the QXG-10G1T network card to my 3rd boot option - I disabled this.Next, in my Windows 7 (Device Manager) looking under "Network Adapters", double clicking on Qnap QXG network card, going to "Power Management" tab at the top right of the box. Click on that, and UN-check the box that says allow the device to wake the computer, then close the boxes out back to your normal Windows desktop. After this, the strange behavior will stop and I was back to normal.
