They’re definitely being optimistic with their claims in terms of wattage but there is TRUTH in their fast charging. I have an IPhone 16, bought one of these to wire up to a work truck and before I knew it my phone was fully charged in a matter of about an hour on the USB c.Now for the standard usb port I can’t vouch for its speed but the USB definitely delivers. Good quality product, comes with decent instructions and is still working today a year later

I replaced the auxiliary power socket with this one. Install is in dash and pulling the panel off was really easy. Wring it up is simple. I cut the spades off and inserted the wires into the factory harness then taped them. The charger fits into the hole the factory plug was in just fine. The only catch is this plug uses a nut that has big knurls on it and when you tighten it down to install it the knurls hit on the arm that clips into the dashboard. Fortunately it still gets more than tight enough that it doesn't feel loose. Nice fit that looks like a factory install.Charged my phone and a battery operated tire inflator with it. Worked well. It does the turbo charge on my cell phone so it was a quick charge. I like it. I don't mind the blue LED light since the socket has a cover and I leave it closed unless I'm charging. It's not annoying at night from what I see.

To me the blue light on the faceplate is an eyesore and waste of power. Another reviewer (Brandon L. Craven, "Bright as the Sun") posted that the four blue LEDS can be easily removed from the board to kill the light, and this is indeed true. They're quite delicate and can literally be 'scraped off' with a utility knife or similar implement; no desoldering or heat required. Be careful of the adjacent components. I can confirm the product works fine with the LEDs simply obliterated in this way. It'd be nice if this destructive modification weren't required though. Maybe a future version could have a jumper that can be pulled out, or a solder tab that can be cut, to disable the light for those who don't want it.Aside from that, these perform as expected on a 24V RV house system. As others have mentioned, they're a bit large and deep so can be tricky to actually fit, but if you have the space these are the Real Deal for running a MacBook Pro direct from house battery via a USB-C to USB-C cable at 60W. No inverter required. Perfect for long boondocks. My Lenovo won't boot with the power cable connected to this, since it checks for a suitably-large power adapter and this doesn't pass. But it WILL charge the laptop while turned off. Until we start seeing devices that can actual make use of the higher wattages enabled by the modern USB-C specification, this is the most power you're going to get for charging laptops from an off-the-shelf product. I hope the manufacturer keeps pushing the envelope for USB-C power with future products!

Bout these to replace all original outlets. Look great. Function as they should. Fast charging. The fit perfect. No modifications needed.
