This worked good. The only thing I would like is for this to dry to tackiness a little faster. Over all good product.

Does help adhesion for concrete resurfacing, but when it gets wet again it turns white even after 24 hours drying before applying concrete and can bleed back up though 3/8" of concrete or more leaving white areas on the surface.

We use this to bond drywall mud to existing walls that need repair. Works great, bonds well. Helps to reduce air holes in mud. Easy to apply. You can use a paint brush or a roller. Can be painted after curing with no issues. As a painter/finisher I would recommend this for doing repairs with existing drywall/plaster walls.

In a recent remodel I had to edge glue plaster to spackling compound. One is a concrete based, the other gypsum. This incompatability can result in hair-line cracks with normal expansion and contraction. Nothing would bond them well that I could find. And knowlege on plaster work has died out. I treated both edges with this Quikrete product I stumbled across on the net and after drying was able to use standard construction glue out of a tube like PL 400, in between. This gave me a solid bond that would break under duress not in the glue line but rather in the sheetrock. Can't bond better than that. And it's cheap and goes a very long way. I bought way too much.I even tried edge gluing sheetrock alone by scoring and breaking, then swabbing this on and re-closing the crack. After drying it was rock hard and would break outside the glue line. It's thin for absorption so it won't fill well, meaning the edges have to be mirror images. But I'm thinking it might turn out to be really good for injection into sheetrock cracks prior to finishing to add stiffness to the crack lines rather than just mudding over and hiding inherent weakness. Can't attest to it's other uses in concrete.

Description says gallon, but only recieved a quart. Money refeunded. Bought product elsewhere. This is one of those items where it's true performance (will my concrete overcoat stay bonded?) won't be known for years so really hard to rate immediately after purchase.
