Very easy to install! I didn't end up needing the push pins as it stuck immediately. Beware though- the tape definitely removes the paint from your door frames. I'm going to have to repaint them when I take this down eventually. I just put this up yesterday, will update after awhiles use.

We added a new cat to our home that had a cat and dog already. As I read the way to introduce a new pet to a home on various websites I found this door screen and it truly helped the process. By the pets seeing each other but not letting them get too close they got to know each other and within 10 days they are now playing and enjoying each other. What is also great if you choose is to just allow a little opening for the cat to get in and out until they are truly comfortable. Sure our other cat followed but I think that helped and gave new cat confidence that they had a place to go. Patience is key but product worked great and could be used longer term for sure. We may move it to another area of the house to let animals on balcony and limit the flys, etc from coming in..

we got this to try to introduce our kitten to our dog who is 10lbs or so. This screen has been helpful. The kitten is the agressor, but we can put her behind the screen in the laundry room. The screen is heavy duty, she has climbed it but it did not tear. good product. we did have to affix w/ tacs at the bottom but that worked.

I bought two of these to create a buffer zone in my home when I introduced a new kitty cat. I placed one in the doorway to the living room and the other in the doorway to the bedroom; the hallway connecting them became neutral territory. After reading the reviews, I was ready to replace them within 2 or 3 months, but they lasted a good 5 before I took them down. By then, my kitty cats had each scratch holes that were large enough for them to squeeze through, but they had also become more tolerant of each other.I like that it came with small nails to secure the velcro to the walls/floor. That said, I did have to buy a few additional nails to reinforce spots where my large cat had pushed at the net enough to cause the nails to pop out.
