I’ve only had my sign a couple months and it already stopped working. So disappointed.

A good looking sign that looks good lit up on the wall. The sign is not Neon but it is made with a bunch of LEDs embedded in a plastic framework, it does look very realistic. It is dimmable with a wired control panel or with a remote control. It is too bright even on the lowest setting to be used as a nightlight in a kids' room. The remote did not come with a battery CR2025. Mounting options are to use a wire attached with rings, or to screw it directly to the wall. The only quality complaint is that the power wires are not secured to the back of the sign very well and I could see how they could be ripped out quite easily.

Most every light only has the inline controller.Neon lights used to be so crazy expensive plus used a ton of electricity while generating heat. Now with these LED “Neon-style” lights - the fun can be brought home at an affordable price with guilt free electrical usage, without heating up the room.The other issue I have with this product is the junction where the power cable meets the sign - the insulation was cut away a bit too short to make connecting/soldering the power leads easier. This reduces the strength of the cord overall and makes it susceptible to malfunction in the future. I don’t think this will be a long term issue provided the sign is handled with care. In an ideal environment, there will be nothing tugging or stressing the power leads after installation. However, one bad fall or yank, and this sign could be finished. This is far from being the worst wire job on neon signs I’ve seen (and I’ve evaluated nearly 8 dozen signs now) – but should be better.Thanks for reading and hope this helps.

As you can see, I guess I got the first of a new run of this product. The sign itself is similar or the same, but there are some key differences with the rest of the product you now get. This one matches the images used in the product picture gallery, and differs a bit from the one pictured in all current reviews for the product. Overall, I would say the quality of it is pretty nice, and it shipped in much better condition and packaging than "neon" lights I've bought from other brands/ sellers. The light is bright at it's highest dimming setting, and sufficiently dim on its lowest. I left it in it's plastic wrap, since I'm not sure if I want to keep it, but the acrylic backer looks clean and free of scratches. Since a different in-line USB dimmer was used, this one functions differently than the ones from other reviews, only having the ability to dim up/down and power on/off, with no included remote to control the light or enable a breathing effect.The one massively disappointing thing to me is that light doesn't return to it's previous state when powered off and on from a wall switch or smart outlet. If you turn off the outlet, the neon light stays off when you turn the outlet back on, meaning that you have to interact with the inline switch every time you want to turn it on. The Product Manual only has package contents and instructions for hanging the sign, so it doesn't seem like there's any way to affect the on/off behavior. If there is, I'd love to know. The included hanging hardware looks to be good quality.If this works for you and you don't care about the on/off function, I would recommend this light. It's cute! If you want to be able to control the light from a smart outlet or switch, this doesn't seem to be what you're looking for.
