Perfect for the crème brûlées I was making for a dinner party. The picture makes these look much more of a single tone than what arrived though, the raised texture is more of a glazed terracotta look against a cream color.

I wanted pretty ramekins for creme brulee. They're the perfect size for tasting hot soup samples. Or to hold nuts on a charcuterie platter. Or dipping sauces for raw vegetables. Or to hold ice cream covered with pie filling.

These were perfect for a hot cocoa bar I put together for a small party. I was able to put multiple toppings in them, and have them out for guests to top their hot cocoa. They store nicely in my kitchen cabinet, when stacked, they hardly take up any space.

I ordered these to replace a hodge-podge of mismatched ramekins and sauce bowls that my fiance and I have accumulated over the years. They are really nice quality, heavy (in a good way), oven/dishwasher safe, and look much nicer than mismatched jumble we had before.Six is more than enough for everyday use, but eight would have made more sense to me. They are off-white in color, with beige accents. Kind of has a farmhouse quality to it. Not for someone looking for true white, modern style cookware. They are nice quality but I do wish they were a little bigger. They are not very wide, nor do they have tapered openings. I'm sure this is a more traditional creme brulee-style design, but I would have preferred a slightly wider and deeper ramekin. Not as good for sauces or dipping, nor would this be a very big portion. What is this, creme brulee for ants?
