Overall this is a simple and solid ramp with multiple height adjustments to adapt to whatever item you have for your dogs. The surface not only has carpet for grip, but also wood steps to help with steeper angles. My dogs took quickly to it and it helps the oldest one easily climb into the bed in the dog room.It folds away easily and sets up in seconds.I would say for the price the wood feels a little cheap, however it seems to be holding my dogs up so far (largest is 90lbs).

It's a very nice ramp. It's for my 17 year old cat. I've put treats on the ramp as suggested however it's hard to change an old cat's attitude. I have to put her on it to show her it isn't scary. I'll keep trying as she has arthritis in her lets. Thought this would be helpful. Alas. You never know about cats.
