This are were great for teaching my just turned 6yo how to ski. Not only are the skis great but the rope provided takes the pull off their hands. I was worried about her not letting go of the rope but an adult in the boat holds the other end and alleviates that fear.

This product arrived a day earlier than expected which was awesome! However, on the third ski useage on day one, the clip that attaches the rope to the skis snapped off. It was a plastic clip and snapped in half. This caused my daughter to fall and husband in the boat holding the other end to get his handle in his face. We replaced the faulty plastic piece with a metal carabiner and it seems to work better. This was rather disappointing.

Works great for teaching along the shore and puking behind the boat. Used for teaching our 7 and 3 year olds.

Be sure not to use the plastic thing to tie the skis together or the rope with 2 handles. Just allow the child time to learn to swim with the skis on their feet. These skis seem to be well built and should last several years provided they are kept in a dry state. Leaving any skis in the bottom of a boat with water will result in skis that will come apart and not be able to use. Keep them dry when not in use.

these are amazing for beginner skiers, our 5 year old was a bit nervous starting out and then was just about up on his first try with these skis!
