Klare Kaufempfehlung.

I found the gloves to be quite comfortable and very effective for bag work and had been enjoying them since I received them in late March but last week they split at the seam that is between the back of the hand and the knuckles (glove on left in photo). I have put 3200 strikes on these gloves and about 1/3 of those were what I would consider low-force punches like jabs and backfists so it is quite disappointing to have them already broken after so little use. I would have rated these 4-5 stars but the suspect quality really brings the rating downAug 9 Update: after their customer service department reached out to me and quickly addressed my concern by shipping a replacement pair I changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars. They really are a nice glove at this price point and given their solid customer focus, I would gladly purchase from this vendor again

For the price and the initial quality, I'm very happy with these gloves. I'd only knock one star off because the sizing seems misleading. Product quality overall seems excellent. I initially ordered these in a size large based on the sizing chart listed in the description and photos. I should have just ordered based off the normal size work glove I usually wear which is a medium. In a work glove like Mechanix Wear or Wells Lamont etc, I usually wear a medium. I'm 5' 10" and 165lbs, so I don't have big hands. I returned the large pair I originally ordered to Amazon, which was extremely easy and fast, and ordered a pair of mediums instead. The mediums fit well and are comfortable. There's plenty of padding over the knuckles and the velcro closures really secure the gloves nicely. The open palm is nice for breathability as well as being able to grapple in addition to striking.

These gloves are sturdy and well-padded whether you're working against a heavy bag or a 2x4. The solid matte-black look is classy. The wrist support is great - even though the first pair I ordered are a little too big in the hands, the wrist support wraps stiff and secure with heavy-grip velcro. The product page had a sizing chart when I ordered, indicating that 23cm around the knuckles was the upper limit in Large or the lower limit in X-Large, so I went for X-Large. The way I'm built everything always needs to be bigger, but this X-Large is actually way too big. The wrist support still works great, but the fingers don't fit tightly and the back-of-palm padding is loose too.I highly recommend these gloves anyway - I went back and rebought the regular Large and a pair of Mediums too, just to make sure I got a set that fit right. Just know that if you're close to a sizing boundary, go smaller than larger.UPDATE: So as of 2019 (when I purchased these) the sizing chart on the product page is just total BS. It's disinformation. The sizing chart is a lie. I'm a big guy. Just for reference: My boots are double-wide because that's as big as my local Work Warehouse carries Danners - my sneakers are quad-wide. So my hand measures a little over 23cm around the knuckles and exactly or just under 23cm around the palm below the knuckles. Sizing Chart says this is upper-range for Large, lower range for X-Large. The pair that actually fit right are the MEDIUM.I can tell because the XL and L sizes don't protect my second/middle knuckles at all, and tend to roll my fists forward (straining wrists) on high-impact blows to my dummy. The M size doesn't roll my fists - every straight-on hit impacts as expected. The M size actually covers my second/middle knuckle of every finger so I don't end up with bloody (and later scabby) hands when I land a punch on or near a nylon seam-guard.So yeah. Not sure if the bad sizing chart is on the seller or manufacturer, but the end result is the same. They're still great gloves - I'm keeping all 3 sizes I ended up buying in case I find out later that hand swelling pushes me into the L zone.UPDATE:Just a half dozen uses (say a hundred piston strokes against the bag a couple of times a week) and I was up from the M to the L. I kept having that "wrist roll" problem with the L for a few uses - a few thousand reps on a gripper and another few hundred hits later and *shifty eyes* the problem fixed itself (ie my wrist got stronger). So if you're new at it, maybe try a size smaller knowing that you won't get your money back but that you'll quickly need the next one up.
