The cable worked for about one month, and then it had an intermittent connection issue that required me to unplug/plug it after every boot for my laptop to see the external monitor. Otherwise, my laptop would not only recognize that output. I tried with several different monitors/TVs, it has the same issue.

Connected MacBook Pro M2 to a 4k hdr monitor. After a few minutes, picture became corrupted with shimmering colorful lines across the screen. Physical connection was solid. Other cables I have work well without issues in the same setup.

This cable can achieve 4K 144hz when connecting my Dell Precision laptop via usbc to my LG C4 monitor hdmi 2.1. I am happy with it

I haven't had a chance to test the 8k resolution, most job sites barely even have 4k but this has been a lifesaver more than a few times.
