Alright so there is good and bad. The good, this boomerang works as described. It is a bit smaller and more rigid than expected, but overall not bad. The bad news, I bought as a Christmas present for each of my three boys. Boy 1 - threw it once and it landed on a nearby roof. Boy 2 - Threw it twice and it disappeared over a group of houses. And boy 3 - zinged it and it returned immediately hitting him just below his left eye. A deep cut and 8 stitches later, he has a great Christmas story to tell. Funniest part, they all asked for another one.

My nephew loves it! And he's 30 years old! I had given my nephew a 40-year-old wooden boomerang I owned. It was always a challenge to use. I purchased this for him and it's awesome. He had it returning almost right out of the bag. It can be tweaked a bit for various conditions. He keeps it in his truck just so he can use it whenever he likes. Great for almost all ages. Easy to use. Good exercise.

I'm new to boomerang, but I liked the way it flies and comes back. I wanted to give a try. When I first got, I took it to the near by park. First couple tries, so dumb, I thought it was waste of money again, I did read about the users manual about the directions. After half hour, I figured out the technique of throwing it. It was amazing to know the aero dynamics that this thing uses. After about 45 minutes I became a Pro. Wow!, I made a bulls eye return, meaning it came to me, but not all the times because the timing, wind, directions, force of throwing, everything matters. I had a mild or no wind at all, but need to try it out during a medium wind. The material was made out of hard plastic, it is good that it wouldn't break if it falls vertically on a hard ground. There are many types out there but mostly wooden made, I suggest to buy a plastic made to last longer, at the end the AeroDynamics and practice is what that matters. I bought another one along with it, was skeptical that I might be returning all if it does not work for me, but now I wanted to try the other one which is more professionally made. I'm enjoying it, BTW this is not a kid's toy, its a sporting product.
