These do what they’re supposed to do, block out light. There’s really not much more to say than that. Regarding some of the negative reviews specifically relating to the material; Yes, they’re made out of paper. I’m not sure why some people are surprised by this when they first open the box; it clearly says it in the product title, “ Redi Shade No Tools Original Blackout Pleated PAPER”. Yes, the adhesive to attach them is not that great. This is easily solved by using something stronger like a command adhesive strip to secure it. I used a 2 inch one, cut it into three pieces and attached one in the center and one at each end and the shades are firmly secured. Yes, because the shade is pleated and it’s made out of paper, even when you stretch it out the full length of the window it bounces back about 1/3 to 1/2 up because it’s not weighted. This issue is also resolved with a command strip - specifically the Velcro ones. I attached one side to the bottom of the shade and one side to the windowsill and when I bring the shade down I secure it to the windowsill. Are they as visually appealing as cloth ones? No, they’re not, because they’re made out of paper. You’re getting six of them for less than $30 dollars, the price for one cloth blackout shade. It should be expected that they’re probably not going to be as nice as the cloth ones. At an average cost of $5 each these are fantastic purchase to solve the problem of too much light. I will add, if you have curtains the visual quality aspect isn’t really going to be an issue because you really can’t see them even thru shear curtains. However, if you don’t have curtains and you don’t plan on putting any up and you want something nicer than a paper shade you may just have to bite the bullet and spend the money on a better quality shade that costs more than $5. If you’re just looking for something that blocks out light, doesn’t require drilling and screws to put up and is cost effective, then these shades are perfect.

Pregunté si habían medidas más largas de las que había, ya que mi ventana es muy grande mide 2 mts, nunca me contestaron pero como viene un paquete de 6, puse 3 persianas, las recorté para que quedaran simétricas y quedaron muy bien. Cumple su función totalmente, no entra ni un solo rayo de sol, el cuarto permanece oscuro y aparte nos dimos cuenta que también evita que se ponga caliente el cuarto, le doy un 10 de 10.

Son excelentes para lo que son. Persianas de papel. Claramente alnser de papel es de flojera subirlas y bajarlas, sin embargo cumplen su funcion. Sí son blackout y aguantan muy bein los rayos del sol. Llevo con ellas 6 meses y el sol no se ha comido el color.Lo que no me gustó es que solo trae 4 pinzas el paquete de 6. Deberian de traer muchas mas para pider usarlas por separado.Y el adhesivo es muy ligero, y se cae con el tiempo. Pero eso ya lo esperaba y las terminé pegando con doble cara 3M, así funcionaron a la perfeccion.

No están mal, cumplieron su función y cubren muy bien del sol. El pegamento despues de 1 mes comienza a despegarse pero se puede vovler a pegar facilmente. Nos sacaron de un apuro en lo que compramos cortinas de verdad.

Liked how easy it was to cut to size, easy to instal, perfect blackout - i works shift work so these cut the sunlight by about 98 percent. With my regular curtains, i could not see without turning on the light. Not only did they block the light they helped keep rooms cooler. You cannot beat the price. Would buy again.

Siguen cumpliendo muy bien su función de bloqueo de la luz. Hace unos tres años compré la misma marca para otras habitaciones y puedo comparar con las que acabo de adquirir (enero 2023):Disminuyó significativamente la calidad del adhesivo; instalé tres, cuidando que la superficie estuviese limpia, etc; en menos de uan semana se despegaron dos.Cambiaron el material: el nuevo material es más pesado y menos flexible; tiene una respuesta extraña a la humedad del ambiente ya que tiende a arrugarse. Pero, aparentemente, es más resistente.

Yo estaba muy emocionada para recibir este producto porque batallo mucho para dormir y quise ver si era por la luz de afuera.Pero este producto es horrible y un niño de 10 años lo pudiera hecho mejor.Es papel nada más. Con cinta.Y lo de más si tu ventana tiene tan siquiera un poco de textura no se pega. Se cayó después de minutos. Tienes que usar dos para una ventana estándar porque no son suficientemente anchos y con dos no bloquea bien la luz.No gastan su dinero en este producto. Pueden hacerlo con papel de la papelería y cinta y sale igual.

We put these up in our room and nursery to help our baby sleep. I read other reviews that they fell down so we put them up during the day in our room to start since she sleeps in our room only at night but in nursery during the day and sure enough they fell down about 2 hours after putting up even though we held them in place for 5 mins after putting up. So, my husband used a staple gun to fix them to the window and so far no issues since. The ones in our room we keep down all the time so they’ve expanded down with gravity to completely hold in place. However the ones in the nursery are pinned up most of the time since we only put them down for nap time which means they need something to hold them down otherwise they spring back up. What’s worked is using small clear command hooks fixed to the frame that I can tuck the blinds under to hold down. Clipping them back up takes a bit of finagling as you need both hands to fold the blinds up but then you need to use one hand to manage the clip so what I’ve found works well is using both hands yo fold it up then moving my left hand to hold the center (the sides will then fall down) and use my right hand to manage the clip. Takes some practice getting the hang of them. They are definitely not as as easy as a blind with a cord to pull up and down but for $45 to cover 6 windows you can’t expect more from this product that does the job as intended (100% blackout as long as you measure the window frame size properly). Very happy with the purchase!

Es un papel de muy buena calidad, grueso y un color negro intenso que impide muy bien el paso de la luz. Con un solo paquete pude cubrir todas las ventanas de mi departamento, porque se pueden cortar y unir los retazos para generar nuevas persianas.Hay que limpiar muuuuy bien la superficie en donde se van a pegar. Yo las instalé hace 3 meses y el adhesivo que incluyen funcionó perfectamente sobre yeso pintado. Para las nuevas persianas que armé de retazos, ocupé cinta doble cara de 3M y también ha funcionado perfecto. Recomendable.

Cumplen su función de Black out, El pegamento es bueno pero depende el tipo de pared en donde se requiera instalar, en mi pared se despegó en 5 segundos. Lo tuve que pegar al marco de la ventana y quedó perfecto. Son tipo papel-cartón que a simple vista no parece y pensando que serían provisionales, las mantendré instaladas hasta que pierdan su funcionalidad de black out.

He visto muchas reseñas donde dice que es papel y ya, pues si, son de papel pero no te lleva ni dos minutos pegarlas, se ven lindas y como trae 6, si alguna se daña tienes repuestos. Bloquea bien la luz , en esta ventana pasa mucho el sol y cumplen su función. Son de buena calidad y al menos a mí me pareció un excelente producto y una excelente opción si no quieres perforar paredes para poner cortineros. La entrega como siempre Amazon súper cumplidos y a tiempo. Gracias.
