Chinese reproduction of a SX460 Auto Voltage Regulator for up to 80k watt 240VAC big single phase generator but used it to replace and fix a Coleman Powermate 6250W 10hp 20 year old geny that had maybe 10 hr on it...Coleman AVR is no longer available..this AVR uses 240VAC sensing circuit for regulator ( the " new" generators using the " half moon" AVR uses 120VAC sensing voltage...they won't work on this geny) ...instructions were marginal...but terminals numbered the same ( in instructions) as the US produced original AVR....just spent 3 hrs retrofitting and testing...set voltage and stability according to instructions....works perfect...will see longevity but should not be working hard on such a small geny...so $27 saved a $1000 geny from 20 years ago... work the time and effort....found one thread on this refit which is odd...was easy...This is a four wire hook up...(-) brush( left side) , (+) brush on right and the two brown wires which is the " 240VAC sensing circuit on stator....the " new" factory replacement AVR requires geny bell head modification and is $142US.....this is a much better option but " external" to head bell...will mount in watertight small hunting Bass Pro box and affix to frame.Edit: Final setup.... used a clear (so I can see "knee" LED) waterproof sandwich plastic container from Canadian Tire to protect AVR... its zip tied on 1/2" pieces of 1/4" rubber fuel line for vibration isolation, zip tied to geny frame up out of hot air from motor - works great...from no load to full load only a couple volts difference (set to about 123VAC) - better than original AVR. Instruction sheet attached with notes... simple install (instructions with AVR were not that bad but still needed to do some research... original SX460 AVR wiring diagram on net...pins all numbered the same as this... NOTE: on a big geny, the sensing voltage is just off the main lines... so even if your stator has no "voltage sensing" wires on stator for hookup, just splice into main lines on power transfer box...... simple!
