Rarely do I write reviews but this tool warranted one. I would give it 6 stars for one reason; It TRULY WORKS. My kitchen floor has 2 layers of linoleum with a piece of Luan under each layer. For this project, I only need to rip up the two layers of linoleum with a piece of Luan in between. Pulling up those 1” staples, which were shot in with a gun (by trigger happy laborers), was incredibly easy & efficient. Definitely recommend this tool.

Made for removal of heavy duty / upholstery staples. Works well in combination with a hammer: a little hammer tap on the handle end and pry on the staple and off goes the staple.

Great tool to get out carpet staples. It didn’t help me pull staples out per say but it did help me to get under the staple to at least break the staple in half and either nail punch or try and pull it out. It had a hard plastic handle so I could tap it with the hammer to lift up under the staple.
