I have used and abused Rigid tools for many years. I could have bought offshore for cheaper but tired of poor quality throw away tools. Was surprised that a tooth die cracked on second thread. Going to chalk it up to mfg defect. Amazon was lightning fast at sending the replacement. Fingers crossed that it was a one-time problem and this tool will last a lifetime like my other Ridgid thread sizes.

As usual Rigid is the go to threading tool. I doubt I will ever use another brand. Whether it's a small threading job or a large installation I will always recommend rigid to anybody. I've used Rigid threaders from the 70s that can be relied on for everyday use. These things are tough and there isn't a better value out there.
