Received part yesterday and installed today. First thing, I am not replacing this for codes or going into limp mode. My original is just a bit slow in response from the throttle. Before I installed this new unit, I checked for codes and that all of the monitors had completed. There were no codes nor pending codes and the monitors all had passed.I installed the new unit and cleared the KAM, Keep Alive Memory, which also clears any and all other codes. Started engine and went for a test drive. The throttle response was a bit better than my original one. I got about a mile and half from home on a back road slowing for a car to turn right, I accelerated and the wrench light came on and the engine went to idle. I had to pull to the side and checked the codes that were set. I got a P2104- TAC System Forced Idle, and a P2112 - Throttle Actuator Control System Stuck Closed. I cleared the codes and accelerated from the side of the road again, same thing happened. I pulled over and cleared the codes again. I turned around and limped back home. I was able to recreate the issue sitting in the driveway. One thing I noticed was the female plug on the actuator was not formed correctly and was tight to plug into. Possibly causing a connection issue between the pins in the plug and the slots in the connector.I reinstalled my original Throttle Body and cleared the codes and test drove. No issues and no codes were set. Returned to Amazon. I will go with OEM. You get what you pay for, right?

Seems to be a quality product, vehicle runs very good,,just remember before starting vehicle to disconnect both battery cables from battery and connect a wire to each cable for a minute Then disconnect it and reattach battery cables and start vehicle so new throttle body will learn the computer.. My vehicle is a 07 Ford Explorer.There are instructions for relearning on YouTube.
