I use these to direct parking in my theater parking lot at night. The flashlight end isn’t powerful enough for very much, but is excellent for helping me get back to the back door. The orange lights are excellent in directing cars where to go. If I shake them violently or bump something, they might turn off, but they aren’t made for hitting things, so I’d say they’re pretty good. The battery feels a little bit loose inside, but they’re good otherwise

I’m very glad that there were two in the box. One works perfectly and the other doesn’t work at all. I use these to direct traffic in a law enforcement capacity to having them is very crucial to my safety and the safety of others.But being that I paid for two and only one works is a little disappointing.

Only thing of note was the on/off buttons. One wand button is super sensitive and the other you need to push until it actually 'clicks' on. Strings definitely come in handy while wearing winter gloves! They are bright, have a heft to them, and work well! (I do wish there was a re-chargeable option since D batteries are so heavy and expensive but it's not enough of a reason not to buy them.)

Seem pretty sturdy, but with any plastic product, dropping it will probably break it, so for those who complained that it broke when it dropped, don't drop it. Nice that it has both a flashing and constant mode for different uses. I'm going to use it for traffic control. Seems bright enough.
