not sure how one would rationalize not getting the matching rope set for the Aztek pulleys. The one problem is the main rope is a little on the short side, especially when you use the pulley system for 5-to-1 lifting. I use mine for hosting heavy tools up staircases and have to add some chain to my hoist point to drop the pulley or i don't have enough rope to go one flight of stairs. one star off for the rope not being long enough otherwise it's of course a perfect match to the system, the rope has the perfect heft and slipperiness and stiffness to avoid tangles and is pure joy to work with
