I bought this product and for the first year it was great, but now when I try to write the ink barely shows. I made sure it wasn't the pens, and tested it on another rocketbook (planner) and even just other pages that I haven't used as much, and the pens work just fine. After a while, the pages you use the most won't work anymore. I added a picture of me testing this out. At best you'll get a good few months of regular use out of a page, and then it doesn't work anymore even with regular cleaning and a consistent temperature environment.I would recommend trying another brand of reusable notebook, or even just swapping to regular paper like me. You'll actually get your money's worth then.

I am so thankful I finally found a way to do "to-go" notes. I travel around to different office and take notes on meetings for my boss and this is so easy to use and its compact. It slides right into my folder to easily carry around. There is also a smaller notebook I will be ordering to fit into my pocket. I love that I can send my notes right to myself and also save a ton of paper.

I bought this for my college age son and he uses it. It’s nice, slim and very light to carry around he hasn’t said anything bad about it. Seems to work for the purpose and price range was within range.Thanks,H.K.

I’m only a few days into using it and so far it is frustrating and uncomfortable.Twice now in meetings and on calls I’ve had to pop back over to regular pen and notepad because I was losing too much time “re-writing” over previous notes when the ink wasn’t legible.The issue started with page one of the notebook, the pen skipped mercilessly on that page and was totally unusable, so I flipped to page two and it was much better.Now as I continue to use the notebook I’m finding it hit or miss on whether I’ll have a usable page or not. Some pages just don’t seem to “hold” the Frixion pen ink.The writing feel is very uncomfortable as well; I have to use variable pressure to get the pen to not skip and many times I have to trace back over my writing. It is like using an ink pen that is almost out.The pens I’m using are the black pen that came with the notebook and the black pen from a Frixion set I purchased with the notebook as a bundle. Neither work well.The app is fantastic though and as long as the pens work, it is easy to scan a good note in. Sort of wish the app worked with regular pen and paper :|

I purchased just the standard dot note pad. I’ve used it for most of the month. I’ve done my first scan, might take some time to work out the kinks. I did make a few changes with permanent marker. Made the first page a to do list added the second and third page as a calendar grid, see photos. The color pens are also a great addition love love, love, the erasable for the immediate and the water erasable for the long term.
