Simple but effective storage for ground coffee, and should work well for other items also. The gray color works with our kitchen decor. Plenty big since I grind only a few days' worth at a time.

I am really happy with this canister. It's exactly the size that I had been looking for. It fits 2lbs of ground coffee just fine. To top it off, it fits perfectly in my cabinet (it's about 8 1/4" high) so I don't have to take up any of my precious counter space.There's a slot on the side of the canister that you can use to hold the scoop that's included. Would have preferred not having that little notch on the side for the spoon. It would have made the outside look smoother and sleeker. I'm used to the plastic coffee scoop that I've always used, so I just use that and store it in with the coffee.Really like the one-way breather valve that lets CO2 gasses out but not oxygen in. It comes with 4 replacement breather discs. To see how difficult it might be to replace the disc, I just followed the instructions and found it pretty easy. What I haven't found any info on is what is the recommended length of time before replacing the disc.The lid is really nicely constructed and gives a nice air-tight seal. Usually by the time I get to the last scoop of coffee stored in the plastic container or coffee bag that they're sold in, I can tell that the coffee taste as fresh or strong as it was when I first opened it. With this canister, I got to the bottom and the pot of coffee it made still tasted as good as the first pot I had made with that coffee. It was still strong and full of flavor.Definitely happy with this canister and would recommend it highly for anyone looking for something to store 2.2lbs of ground coffee or 2.8lbs of coffee beans and keep it fresh.

Estuve buscando un contenedor con la capacidad de almacenar un kilogramo de café molido y este cumplió muy bien su función. El color negro y su cuchara le da un toque de elegancia, incluye válvulas de repuesto para que el café "respire*.
