Little thicker than the butcher paper I'm used to, but worked well.

I really like this paper for wrapping meat I am smoking. Holds up well in heat of smoker. Additional plus is it can be used as a counter cover when preparing meat, fish or other messy foods and makes for an easy clean up. I even use to protect counters when processing honey from my bee hives. This is second role I’ve used and will order another when this one is used up.

My husband asked me to purchase this for him, we live so rural that it's hard to find what you're looking for. Held the juice and rendered fat, making for a really great piece of smoked meat, he's used it for Brisket which takes hours to smoke and Pork Butt, and that is my favorite of all the smoked meat he's done, nice moist tender and absolutely delicious. I think that this has kept the bark hard, which I don't care for, he was using foil and changed to this because he was told Smoking in this paper is better all but the bark for me. He highly recommends this Pink Paper and it's a good size for the Brisket without all the waste!
