My old black and Decker matrix took a crap so I replaced it with this hoping it would fix it and it sure did. Saved me $60.

I replaced the motor on a Milwaukee M12 2410 Drill. It runs! It no longer smokes up! Does it drill holes? Yes. Will it sink in a #8 X 2-1/2 with out pre-drilling? I dunno. Lets find out ... yes! It did. Will it last? Time will tell. It is now 11/23 if Amazon allows I will update this if it fails.Be sure to measure the gap between the casing and the pinion of the old motor before removing the pinion.To remove the 13 tooth pinion from the old motor, I loaded up a 1/8 inch punch into my drill press. Then i removed the back from the old motor. I Placed the old motor casing on steel blocks under the 1/8" punch and I slowly pressed the pinion out. I semi heated the pinion with a hand held propane torch just a little, not too much, not making anything red hot or anything just a little heat. As the pinion comes out, it semi crushed the old motor casing. But the pinion came out a-o-k.To install the old pinion on the new motor, I then completely closed the drill chuck of my drill press, I put the new motor on the steel table. Only the bottom of the shaft is touching the table, not the casing. Then I placed the old pinion on the new motor shaft and pressed in the pinion. You are basically pressing down on the shaft only with the drill press. Then grab some small flat pliers and place it over the pinion and open up the chuck a little to let the shaft enter and continue pressing.
