We used it to keep an area rug in place on top of the carpet in the room … works wonders.

I live in Albuquerque where we have very windy nights, used this product on the patio to hold my outdoor rug in place, works like a champ!

At first this seemed to work. Then after a week or two the tape stuck to the carpet but not to the runner.
