I like working in a low-light environment for a number of reasons, and an illuminated keyboard is a big help. This is a nice, relatively inexpensive keyboard. I am running it on a dual boot Win11/Fedora Linux system, and it works fine with both OS.Things to consider:It is a full-size (3/4" key spacing) keyboard, Type M/ANSI layout with minor variationsThe space bar is shifted to the left a bit for inclusion of the Fn key (used for lighting settings)The keys are low-profile "chiclet" keys, with very slightly contoured tops and short travelThe keys make some noise, not really a sharp click, but still fairly loudThe lighting can be changed to any of 7 colors and 7 levels of brightness. It also has a cycle mode that constantly changes colors, which is the startup mode. Lighting can also be turned off.The lighting settings can't be saved (although they are easy to set).All the keys are illuminated the same.There are also indicator lights for locks (Num/Caps/Scroll)The keyboard is corded, with a USB type A plug.It has the typical flip-up rear legs to change the angle of the keyboard.

I bought this for my elderly mother who kept getting locked out of her online accounts for failed password attempts. I suspected the problem was her eyesight and/or insufficient lighting at the computer keyboard. This product solved both issues. The keys seem bigger and the letters are large well lit. The keyboard was plug and play, with easy USB installation. Mom hasn't messed up a single password since I installed it. I'm thinking of ordering another one for my computer.The keyboard does cycle through several illumination colors. There is a way to freeze it at a certain color, but apparently you have to do that each time. There is no software to set up programming preferences, but that just adds to the ease of installation. If you want the fancy stuff, maybe go for something more upmarket. For a basic lighted keyboard that is easy to see, this works just fine.

I am very pleased with this keyboard, the lights work how they are supposed to, the quality is good and the best part is that the fonts are large which is nice if you have trouble seeing. It has legs so it will raise the back some, easier on your hands. The price is very good, I find that the noise is not annoying at all, I would definitely buy again

This keyboard is so awesome and easy to manipulate between backlit options for the keyboard. Typing on it is smooth and makes the little click noises that I like. The keyboard has larger than normal size lettering, numbers, functions and is so easy to read. If you want or need a wired backlit keyboard, stop here and buy this I guarantee you wont be disappointed. And to those of you who like a little lift to their keyboard it has two little risers to lift the back of the keyboard up. Thank you to Sablute for making such a fine keyboard and to Amazon for offering this keyboard. Love it!

Expensive and the product was delivered way beyond the expected date. However for the visually challenged, this is a worthwhile keyboard. The person I bought it for likes it and has no negative comments. I hope this product is sturdy and lasts a while, given its price.
