The 8.5X12 size is like a cozy robe for my items – not too snug, not too roomy, just the Goldilocks of packaging.The self-seal feature is a game-changer. No more wrestling with tape like I'm in a DIY wrestling championship. It's like the mailer saying, "Relax, buddy, I got this." The only downside is I sometimes get so carried away sealing envelopes that I forget what's inside. Surprise, future me!Now, about the waterproof feature – it's like giving my packages a raincoat. I half expect my parcels to start singing in the rain. Raindrops keep falling on my head? Not on these mailers' watch! However, I did discover a new talent for predicting the weather based on my shipment's level of dryness.The cushioning is where the magic happens. These are perfectly sized and nicely durable for shipping slightly fragile items. I used these to send personalized calendars out to my large extended family and they fit two very nicely and three with a bit of squeezing. Everyone reported the calendar binding spirals were in perfect shape and did not get squashed in transit, so I’d say that the bubbles did their job! The plastic was also handy as one had been left out in the rain - I was told that the paper inside had not been damaged. I’m definitely getting more for next year!
