its a good size for my floor around my desk, its hard to keep it clean to keep it clear, it almost has a cloudy film to it, ive done soap and wipes and some areas are just hard to keep but over all it helps protect the floors and roll the chair around.

I love the size of this mat, it fits well under my makers station. The clarity is a plus as well; I'm rather fond of the color of my floors and i like that this mat doesn't cause and distortion. It also flattened out nicely and fairly quick. My only true issue is that it doesn't seem to be very durable. The wheels on my craft chair are leaving dents in the mat and they appear to be permanent. I'm worried that over time (possibly not much time) the mat will feel bumpy when I slide my chair.

I got this to put on a hardwood floor, to protect the floor from a rolling chair. It will do that, but I found that it was just a bit too soft for my taste. After sitting in one place for more than five minutes, I found that I had to use a bit of effort to get the chair moving because it had settled into the plastic, creating small indentations. Also, I found that it did add to the resistance of the chair rolling, which I am not familiar with happening with the firmer surfaces I have used in the past.This mat was grippy, and did not move on the floor, but the grippiness came with the drawback of being too soft to allow the free rolling I like. I could totally see using this under a piece of furniture that is going to be set on hardwood, like a bookcase or a cabinet of some sort -- it is thin and protective. But for a chair that is constantly going to be moving, I think it is just a bit too soft.

The mat is a sturdy and malleable material that feels smooth to roll my chair on. It does come wrapped in Saran Wrap so heads up it took a bit of effort to get off. Other wise I would do as suggested on the instructions, putting heavy objects on each corner up to 24hours just to get the mat flat then add the non slip tabs on. I would recommend.
