I shot a big Hogfish with this in the Exumas. I thought it was going to break but it didn’t. I almost drowned trying to get that fish up. But the pole spear worked fine. Probably better for lobster and small fish though.

Immediate upgrade from my other spear, doesn't come loose, feels stronger, and works well. Tip is deadly as well

purchased this to use on our keys trip. very solid and strong, and i do like the 3 prong teeth. with anything pole spear, there was a small learning curve before i started hitting the mark. held up to many rock strikes.
