Es una rolita básica para principiantes la textura no es tan bueno y es un poco fina

We needed to create a backdrop for a school performance and this fit the bill perfectly? Already primed and ready to go all we had to do was add grommets

I almost didnt buy this after reading some of the reviews, but decided it was still the best value for me. It is primed on one side and seems to be an ok thickness, still on the thin side, but i see no issues. I will edit my review later after i have used it more, if i find it is not up to the job(acrylic painting).

For the extremely discount price I paid for this I am very happy. I needed to work with extra large canvas sizes for my paint studio class for one semester - minimum 1x1 metre - NOT easy to work with, OR cheap! This roll saved my wallet!!This does come primed - for anyone wondering if this is unprimed cotton canvas it is *not* - it's standard white gesso on one side.The size is enormous, frankly, but thats the great value in it. I didnt use this canvas for fine art paintings - used for 3 or 6 hour studio sessions with walnut oil paints. I primed with additional gesso before using. I also didn't stretch any of the canvas pieces I cut - preferring to let them dry after a paint session and then roll them up to fit in a tube for easier transport. This was really sufficient for my needs, and the price I got it for on here was less than half of what any of the art supply stores were offering.Plus, prime shipping!

Firstly, the packaging was sublime. It arrived in a long box, in which the canvas bolt was in an even longer bag. This canvas is pre-primed, and the manufacturers were even smart enough to roll it up with the priming on the inside so it will not get dirty even if it wasn't protected by the aforementioned box and bag. I have stretched a number of large scale canvases with this item, and have not had a single tear, even with a lot of pressure from the leverage using canvas pliers. If you are looking to save some money by stretching your own canvases, this item is the thing you need to get started. The price of this bolt is close to the price you'd pay for ONE gallery quality canvas. When I run out of this item, I will, most definitely, be buying this again - even if the price is doubled.
