Purchased this shoe for an upcoming trip to the UK. I was looking for a comfortable Gore Tex waterproof, walking/light hiking shoe and this one checked all the boxes. I am normally a women's size 7 but purchased a half size larger 7.5 to accommodate my high arch insoles. I've tested the shoes by wearing them for a couple of full days hiking on a hilly trails and around town. I found the Saucony Aura TR GTX shoe very comfortable. My only negitive comment is that the flat, thin shoelaces are not a good enough quality for an active shoe like this one. I changed out the laces. if you are doing the same, look for 45- 48-inch laces.

I normally wear a women's 8.5 and have narrow feet with a high arch. I spend most of my active time on trail in the swamps of the deep south.I ordered a pair of Saucony GTX in 8.5 and they were so tight I could barely walk. So, I ordered these in 9 and they not only felt like a full size too big, but they were so wide that they seemed like a man's. IF, they fit correct, they would look really nice. But, they were so wide that they looked like frankenstein foots.I can't comment on how waterproof, because they only got a little bit wet. But, rocks almost immediately got into the shoes (possibly just because they were too big). The ride is nice and cushy with a lot of ground feel, but not like a barefoot shoe. The sole flexes and bends over objects. So, if you are someone who needs support and a stiff sole, this may not be a good idea. The lugs seemed to do well on hardpack and mud, but were like skates on slippery rock.
