This is a very sturdy, heavy particleboard file cabinet. I love the look… but it was a nightmare to put together! The instructions are clear, but the drawings are not! Don’t go by what you see, go with what matches up! A million screws — we had 4 leftover and thought, “Uh oh, now what?” But we saw where they went and did not have to reassemble. Again, extremely sturdy and well made. We had to call the company to get an explanation. Look all the way through before you start… it may help. That’s the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Oh, and good safety feature, too. Only one drawer at a time can be open, so no tipping over! I recommend it highly… just give yourself ample time to get it all to fit perfectly.

The directions were overwhelming for me (age 66), but my daughter was very helpful and did a great job putting it together for me!

This product came in a hundred pieces. None of the holes were lined up properly. The wood cracked when we screwed parts together. It took 10 hrs to go through the 16 steps to put together. It looks terrible with cracked particle wood. Do not buy this, it is not good.

Beautiful and spacious but incredible difficult to put together. Took hours on hours to put together. If you are not handy... this is not the one for you. If you are, be patient and aware it will not be easy!Also, one of our wood boards came broken which caused some issues in assembly. Customer service was not helpful at all so we just kept a broken item hoping it works.

Finish is a little darker than pictures show. Instructions are clear. It takes awhile for one person to put together. Packaging was sturdy and protective - both outside and inside. Very heavy - two people would be the safest in lifting. All pieces are marked. Good value for the money in my opinion.
