This review is for the Scarlet Darkness Women's Bustier Corset Tops Adjustable Strap Fishbone Crop Tank Tops.So I generally love this brand, they have some great styles that are well made, they're not your run of the mill everyday stuff. They're distinctive and cater to those that march to the beat of a diff drummer! So I love the style of this top, nice material, adjustable straps... but, I'm larger chested. So I'm just not sure if I can pull this top off or not yet, so to speak LOL. There's nothing wrong with the top, it's corset style, not an actual corset, so it's much more comfortable than a real corset would be. And the elastic ruched back makes for an even more custom fit along with the adjustable straps. I'm short so I like how this fits longer on me too. But being short and larger chested is not always a good combo when trying to get things that fit properly. LOL. Anyway, I do really like the top and I'll have to play around experimenting with it more, maybe wear it under a jean vest or a long loose fit thin sweater vest... Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.My wife loves dressing up and she is always looking for well made tops. This is a good one for layering. The top is pretty classic in design for a corseted top. Fitment is comfortable but does run a size large. This is not a top that is going to do any real corset work, but does create a nice appearance of a corset without all the restrictions. Materials and construction are quite good and my wife is pretty happy with this one. It's a nice piece to have in the wardrobe. Every piece we have gotten from Scarlet darkness has been a very nicely made piece, but they have all run a size large.

The boning is of a higher quality than I expected for the price point. It's flattering, goes with almost anything, and I feel great in it.

I got this for my daughter. She loves corsets, so I knew that she would really like the look of boning on this top.It actually runs slightly large on her – which is totally fine, not a big deal. Especially with how she layered clothing it’s not a thing. The material is really nice. It’s super silky/smooth feeling but also very strong. It feels like a fabric that will not rip or tear very easily. It’s not a stretchy fabric, but it is comfortable and it breathes well.This is a really flattering top. I do with the straps were just a tad thicker but not a dealbreaker. Overall it’s just super cute- my daughter loves it and it’s so beautiful on her.

For $27 I’d expect more and better.Especially from this brand.I was not expecting the top to have a structured fit, and it was obvious from the photos it was for looks only.One of the things I typically love about this brand is they usually design things that will fit a wide range of sizes and build types.This is a cute top, but even sizing up, it was not designed with anyone but a narrow framed small busted customer in mind.The thin strap, placement of the straps, and small cups, scream this.If you do not have a narrow framed small busted, the shirt looks like you are wearing something too small for you, even if it fits otherwise.The fabric itself is soft with a nice give to it.If you are built correctly this would be a cute top
