This is in every respect a 5-star treadmill. There is one VERY annoying flaw from Schwinn (more on that at the end) but not with the treadmill itself. It is well build and very sturdy and delightfully quiet. Be aware, however, that I don't want/need/use any of the connectivity features so I don't have any of the problems with that stuff that other people here have complained about.I find the bed to be more than long enough and even though I do not run on it, I don't see how doing so would be a problem. I think people who have complained a bit about that must have a very long stride. The "cup holders" are actually bigger than just for cups, which is nice. The slot for books/Kindle/etc is a good feature.I don't care much about the heart-rate and burned calorie features but I can see that some folks would be happy they are there. All of the features (speed, tilt, safety, console display, etc) are excellent, although when I first started I would have preferred that it go lower than 1 mph (I'm 81 years old and NOT a fast walker). The fan is a little on the weak side, but I'm only 5'9" so have no trouble with it blowing up to my face. My 6'3" son might have a different experience.I was worried that at my age, and with my failing strength, I would not be able to use the feature that allows you to lift the back of the bed and get the whole thing up to about 45 degrees so you can, should you need to, get at the serial number (which is inconveniently located on a bottom rail), but I found that I can manage it. Once you get it all the way up, it locks in place and then has the excellent feature of a hydraulic piston that drops it nice and slowly back down with you not having to do anything other than engage the piston release. I think the piston must also be helping with the lifting up. Also, the tilt up makes it much easier to get at the screws that allow you to loosen/tighten the belt to align it and make sure it doesn't slip.It IS quite heavy (the manual says 155 lbs and I believe it) AND it will not go though a standard sized doorway without taking it apart at least partially) so best you put it where you plan to keep it. The wiring from the base up to the console is NOT well designed and would be easy to screw up during assembly. The up-tilt I just mentioned is also so that you can move it around (it has rollers at the front), but again, it is HEAVY.I had two issues with the treadmill at first but both turned out to be totally MY fault or misunderstanding. When I called their support line for help with the issues I spoke to different people each time and both were extremely knowledgeable, polite, professional, and helpful. For one of the issues, before I discovered it was MY problem, not theirs, they were going to send me a part and have a technician come to the house and install it. I was impressed with that since I live in a small town about 45 minutes away from any city. The annoying thing I mentioned at the start is not actually with the treadmill, it is with Schwinn. In the user manual they recommend a particular lubrication system ("walk-n-lube"), which as it turns out, it a TERRIBLE choice (doesn't work well at all) for this treadmill so I wasted $40 on it which I found very annoying.SO ... I definitely recommend this treadmill.

The most import thing I was looking for with this purchase was not to have a problem that required me to return the treadmill which is a massive hassle. Even with highly rated Consumer Reports treadmills sold on Amazon, I saw a high percentage of 1 star ratings with problems that indicated poor quality control from the manufacturer. I have not had any problems with the Schwinn 810 what so ever. It was very easy to assemble. The electrical cables have are attached to a guide wire for moving the wires up through the vertical post. I recommend feeding the cables into the bottom of the post a little at a time while pulling the guide wire at the top of the post.I have had other treadmills that were larger, heavier, with powerful motors, and with larger computer screens This Schwinn 810 does everything I need from a treadmill and does it well. It is extremely quiet and runs smoothly. The deck has a little necessary 'bounce' to avoid excessive impact to the knees. The screen is large and clear enough for me to see without my glasses. One thing I particularly like is that it displays the actual speed as the motor is ramping up. I don't need an online coach and don't care if the treadmill provides a virtual run through a scenic area. If I was training for a marathon, weighed 250lbs, and was running 7minute miles I would probably want something larger and more powerful. I am an average guy running 6 mph for about an hour and am very thrilled with this machine.

I initially submitted a 5 star review then when the machine was starting to not power up, and I kept having to call tech support to try to get it fixed by rewiring it, I thought "Ok, maybe it's a small fix"....then all of a sudden it would not power up at all anymore. My treadmill worked for maybe 2? months then broke and the company sent me console parts and a company called GoConfigure was supposed to schedule a repair person to be flown to me to fix the treadmill. It's been 4-6 months since it stopped working (34 minute phone calls, 20 minute wait times....), I don't even remember anymore. I have a large black object that could be used as a coat rack sitting in my living room. It takes a ton of time calling in and checking on parts and trying to check status of the repair. In the 4-6 months it took to get parts sent to me, they could have sent me an entirely new machine to replace the broken one- instead they sent me two new replacement consoles and I'm still waiting on a repairman to buy a ticket to fly to come and repair it in my home. I've had to call to have my issue escalated because, again, it's been months and it's still just sitting here._____________________________________________________________________I love that it has a fan, it also has speakers, the settings are easy to use, incline is good, functionality is great. And it even folds up! It's so sturdy that when you release the tread to drop from the folded up position, you can just walk away and wait for it. The only things that were not perfect were that there was a broken screw in the hole for the right base sheath guard and the outer sheath guard for the handrail would not go into place because the parts didn't align- these were strictly aesthetic though. Had those two things not caused me to try to realign all the mounts a couple times, I probably would have unboxed and put the machine together in under an hour. I wish I would have bought it at the beginning of the pandemic. I am so happy with the time it took to receive it and I live in Alaska where shipping is often a nightmare. It looks great, operates great, and it wasn't extremely expensive (I compared a ton of them too). For any of you contemplating getting this, I highly highly recommend it; I don't feel safe going back to the gym yet so this is just absolutely awesome. The fan alone makes me super stoked (it's the little things). Thank you Schwinn!

I was searching for months for a treadmill. After reading so many negative reviews I was scared to shell out $1,000 for a machine that may break after a few months. I came across this Schwinn 810 at a Play it Again sports store on sale from $1,200 to $800. I was able to check it out in person and it looks feels like a quality machine. I almost bought it right there but saw it was cheaper on Amazon, $750. I took the plunge and bought it for $700 in November 2020. It took me one hour to assemble, the instructions are mostly pictures and are not great. What is great? This treadmill! It’s fantastic. When I was searching for treadmills on Amazon, this one never showed up in the search results? I had to enter this specific model in the search, then it showed up. It weighs 160 lbs, not terrible, my wife and I could move it. The treadmill is HIGH quality. It’s quiet, has a fan, has a USB port, has automatic incline, good cushioning. Have not used the speakers. Good storage for drink, phone, remote. The shelf for your iPad is above the screen which is great because you can see all your data while you workout. I have had no error issues like some reviewers have said. The box said Bowflex and Nautilus and Schwinn on it, must be made by them? Absolutely love it. The app is worthless for me, don’t use it, not worth $10 a month! You can get free ones on YouTube. The app syncs with your treadmill so it looks like you are running through the city/park/forest etc.... I watch movies when I work out, so this is not important to me. It’s a monthly subscription, I cancelled it immediately. Buy this treadmill. I see it is now much more expensive, $1,000. Get it on sale.

We wanted a treadmill after the pandemic shutdown got us walking in our neighborhood, but the Texas heat made that hard to sustain during these summer months. I did my research, and chose this Schwinn 810 based on good reviews here on Amazon and other places. It came within days of ordering. The delivery was exactly as scheduled. The delivery guy offered to put it inside our front door and we accepted. It came in one long heavy box. The box is basically the length of the treadmill. My husband and I - 70 & 66 - were not sure we could handle the assembly, but we wanted to try. The first attempt the day of delivery was not successful. The directions are not the clearest, and we struggled to get the base out of the box, so we gave up. The next day we had more time to devote to it. We got the base out of the box, but then realized we should be assembling it in the room where it would be used, so we had to use a strong dolly to maneuver the base down the hall and around a corner. Once it was in place (DO NOT CUT THE STRAP AROUND THE BASE UNTIL IT IS WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO USE IT) we deciphered the instructions by bringing them up on my iPad and enlarging the pictures. That helped. 2 hours later it was ready to be plugged in! And that’s when we learned we did not have a required 3-prong outlet in that room. We have lived here 25 years and never realized that. We are remodeling our home in a month, and that will be on the list. So, we could wait the several months for the house to be renovated with upgraded outlets in this room OR we could disassemble it, and move it into any of the remaining rooms that DID have the required electrical power source. We chose the latter, feeling confident in our ability to take it apart and put it back together. We did manage to do that, but not before pulling apart the wires on the smaller of one of the connectors. Once they are in, they are apparently in for good. That nearly defeated the whole project, but we decided to push through that setback and see what would turn on when we got it reassembled. Turns out it works beautifully, and I have walked more than I could have possibly done outside over the past 2 days. The mystery wire that broke must be a part of the Bluetooth connection that we don’t need anyhow. I am happy with this treadmill in spite of the challenges it presented.UPDATE 4.9.2023 - 3 years after the start of the pandemic, and about 2.5 years after we purchased this treadmill, it is still going strong, and thanks to owning it, I am too! I an so grateful to have it because it is the most convenient exercise I can do. I use it 3-4 days a week, for at least an hour each time. It is a key part of maintaining my health and fitness. Highly recommend!

Magnifica. Estoy feliz!!
