Worked great when first used, went downhill after just a month. Battery only charges to 70% and the motor is getting louder day by day. Battery life is actually about 15-20 minutes when in use. Changing all three filters is easy, unfortunately would not help with the sound or battery life. Suction power is great, and ease of use is great. But I do feel like all my issues stem from the fact that it was renewed by Amazon.

Update - The CPS “3 year” Warranty that is supposed to give you confidence is a SCAM! I sent the vacuum to be repaired and they offered me a settlement of $130 out of the $263 I paid in July to not repair the vacuum! Terrible! That’s NOT a warranty! After about 10 uses, this unit started making a high pitched noise, even after being cleaned. Then it started making a metallic noise and now just stopped completely. I purchased it in July 24 and started having issues within a few months. Of course, since it’s refurbished, it won’t allow any returns. Don’t buy this unit! $263 down the toilet!

The vacuum itself was a wonderful item. It was lightweight easy to use, but I had requested a corded vacuum and received the cordless. I did however give it some time to use to see how well it work and it did well everywhere but on my area, rugs and runners I have a lot of pets. I needed this item to be able to work on those area rugs as well and it did not if you do not have pets or extra sand and dirt in your area rugs decide which probably work perfectly for you they did honor my return request eventually. So overall I give the vacuum a three star and Company at four star.

The convenience of cordless, the power of a strong vacuum. Has sensors that know when it needs more power or less. Amazing! Light weight too.

Update: 12/24: I wanted to clean out the power nozzle housing and the gunked-up clear plastic cover over the rollers. To do so requires its disassembly. I am a relatively competent DIYer so began attempting to remove the underside/back cover. Shark clearly doesn't want anyone to be able to service their vacuums because there is a cacophony of multi sized Torx head screws with some buried so deeply it is difficult to access them. Once I was able to remove them I still could not get the back access cover off. After searching the internet I discovered a couple of websites by professional repair folks who clarified that in addition to the Torx screws, there are also inaccessible snaps/clips on the inside of the housing so that removal would require breaking them and negating proper re-assembly. Bottom Line: Shark designs these units so they cannot have basic service or any repair, thus these unserviceable vacuums are not built to last for more than a few years. Not only resulting in additional consumer expense, it also unnecessarily contributes to our landfill waste.Update 11/23: As instructed, after fully charging the battery for first use, I did let it run down to 0 charge as a conditioning measure. After several subsequent uses the battery run time has notably improved. :) I now use only 40-50% of charge for my standard hardwood floor vacuuming. I am finding that I have become even more satisfied w/performance and features after getting more acclimated to using. Thus far I am well pleased with this reasonably priced refurb purchase from beach camera that included a 3-year third party extended care warranty. Shipped by Amazon it arrived well boxed with all its parts and looked brand new. At this writing I have had it for a couple weeks and used it a few times, primarily on hardwood floors and once on low pile carpeted staircase to lower level. In spite of attached large labels, it was a challenge to correctly figure out using the various latches for folding the vac in half and removing the debris collection cup (once confusing its latch with the smaller one for emptying debris). The variable speed auto sensing motor seems to function as described and has adequate suction for good cleaning on hardwood and tile surfaces. I don't think this unit or most stick vacs are powerful enough to thoroughly clean deep pile or short shag carpeting, but I did not have any trouble vacuuming a couple throw rugs, though I had to be more careful with a small one so as not to jam it in the head unit rollers. Noise level was noticeable but reasonable on the highest suction and very quiet on low suction. Because this vac has a bit larger motor and debris cup than some of the other Shark models, it it definitely a little top heavy and I think it weighs a bit more than others. I like the included attachments. The biggest shortcoming, which seems to be common amongst cordless vacs, is the battery life is actually less in real life application than advertised. When I first turn it on with a full charge, it drops to 90% charge in about 15-30 seconds. I do have a somewhat large hardwood floor covering about 60% of our main floor and by the time I am finished the battery is down to 10% or has quit. All said, I think the price/performance curve for me makes this higher end Shark vac a good buy. FYI - i did pay for this.
